i don't feel like introducing myself...

well i usually don't like indian soap operas so i hardly watch them but historical and patriotical shows are my weakness may be cuz i am from an Army background.
last sat. i was introduced about the show by my cousin, she said the ML is shown as an army guy at first i denied and then thought of reading about the story on wiki, it felt good but usual and common i thought of giving it a try and watched the last 4-5 episodes. it was ok for me it didn't appeal me that much, i came to the forum out of curiosity but what i saw here was extreme funny scenario (i ll use the word funny only).
people were cursing, abusing, using sacrilege, impiety, profanity language for an Army Official who was far far away from this Mahaaan soul connection, who was actually dragged and made to look like a villain in the love story of "The Most Beautiful Couple" in tellywood.
but i kept mum cuz i found it inconvenient to argue with kids...
but today i get teary eyed ... not after watching the episode, but after reading the posts made by some of the loyal fans.

they wish the soldier should die so that their couple can get married and have fun
like seriously do you even know how, Just HOW it feels when every day your family pray for the one person who is fighting for the safety of millions of people who dont even know his name?

making fun cuz the soldier failed in his plan A as if they only give training to the intelligence officials.
he went inside alone, idiot wanted to be called mahaaannn, people who is name calling the character even know how it is to deal with terrorists? he went inside cuz he wanted to be mahaannn, nope sweeties he went alone cuz he wanted to reki the whole area where hostages were kept and he clearly told his team to barge in after his signal as their plan. but we toh got a mauka to bash the character and even the actor how can we leave that.
talking about love, sacred relation and all man, atleast have some... a lil bit respect for the soldiers who LOVES all of us without even knowing us.
The person bashed today was a soldier, but people found him irritating ... huhhh cuz he was dragging the reunion of their couple, he failed to enter the house in which his grandpa, mother, grand mother, aunt, cousin,sister in law all were present... poor man he is going to loose everything for the sake of the country but who cares bas couple ko nikal lo bahar fir sabko goli mardo hume kya farak padta hai.

Cvs toh yar gone mad Ravish ko dikhaya and above all they showed him as an army man, how can he be a good boy he is to kabaab me haddi, send him to the border man, mar kyu nahi jata ... so childish yar... grow up and if you cant then take chill pill guys. both the actors playing couple have done a good job as they have got a lott of fan following, have faith in them, if the show is about their love story then they will definitely cross all the hurdles and come out being winners.
uske liye there is no need ke ravish ya suman jaan de dein apni.
aur kisi ka toh pata nahi but a soldier cant give his life just for the sake of any romantic couple. and ravish has a lottt of work and responsibilities other than to get the couple married.

👏 to the makers... cuz they atleast have the guts to show a bigger social issue like terrorism, for adding an patriotic angle in a daily soap.
there are loopholes... and trust me bigger than you can imagine
but atleast they are trying na, not repeating the same old fashioned saas bahu dramas.
kuchh toh culture rakho yar. appreciate karne wali jagah to karo.

and yes one more thing i was not a SV fan but i am in love with Ravish's Character
and i see a good scope in RV story and their chemistry (if they anyhow trying to make them a couple)

agreed dear.

I do understand the fandoms feeling and their love for the couple. but cursing others that too the actors who are just doing their job is not at all accepted.

also disrespecting THE ARMY OR ANY DEFENCE PROFESSION which are the most SELFLESS profession...just bcz of the love for some fictional character is really SAD.

But having said that I don't think terrorism is a new concept in daily soups. It has been done to death and in a alot of better ways. See diya aur baati hum, dehleez, pow and many many countless more.

Yes I think it is not done well in this show. The whole track dint appeal to me as a viewer for some reason. It did look really weird how ravish was accompanied by like 4 soldiers for the entire mission. No trace of any army or other officers.The whole focus of this track was just focussing on how great ravish is. No doubting that he is a great character. But the focus should have been on solving the problem. We see zeenat gossiping about random shit to the family members and revealing her plan by talking to HERSELF LOUDLY. I found that funny and stupid. Show a track and do justice to the Indian army with it. The funniest were the media. All of this looked impractical and illogical to me and a lot of my fellow fans.

NOTHING AGAINST RAVISH. Atharv loves him as a brother so do we. We are disappointed with how this track has been implemented.

And about the rage against suman. You've seen the show for 4 days. We've been watching this show from the day it stated. The context of anger would have been different. It's got nothing to do with us not respecting our army.

No one needs to be afraid in this forum. We are here to put forward our point of view.

I think people have jumped to a whole lot of conclusions without knowing all the facts or details. If tomorrow it's proved that what some have called a lame ass rescue attempt, the glorification of Ravish, a disgrace to the Indian army etc turns out to be part of a bigger plan that succeeds what then? Are people gonna take back their words? Sometimes bias can be akin to ignorance and contrary to what people think, ignorance is not bliss.

My friends are in the NZ/ Australian & UK army/navy/police force and what they are showing in JNDSD is a complete joke. Firstly, no army officers enters a battlefield by themselves nor do they attempt to recuse people from terrorist without knowing the situation. What they showed on television was completely foolish as no army officer does that in the real world... they work in a team brotherhood/sisterhood there is no I in TEAM. IDK what Ravish was doing?? Trying to get the Victorian Cross medal?? In saying this I have respect for the innocent people fallen for my country and the scarifies that the families have paid for their men and woman to serve the country I live in.

Relax! No one is disrespecting the army, infact we're pissed at the CVs for making a mockery out of the army, cos that is exactly what they are doing.

Since you belong to an army background, you should know better. Where in the world does the whole team of army send just ONE of their members inside a place filled with terrorists while the rest just stand outside doing nothing? Where is the bravery in that?

This is not the first show which has dealt with terrorism, but it's definitely the first show that has made a joke out of the whole issue. Personally, I think it could have been handled way better than this.

So no one is making fun of the army here, it's the show makers who are doing that and that's just my opinion. Freel free to disagree with it :)
