I've thought about this too.. it could be probably because roshni was working in mauve with him..
I don't know if I remember it properly but i think she too had some share over mauve when they had gotten 'married'. They'll probably reveal in future why neil made such a will since the will would've been created after Sidni death and Karanveer was presumed dead too.

Bcuz roshni has also shares in mauv magazine so i think thats why neil had transfered it to his own daughter mahi and roshni son karanvir
