Esp for you Purni. Wrote this especially for you once I saw the topic. 😊
Wow. That's the only word that comes to my mind after watching the episode tonight.
Every moment was everything: emotional and intense. In short mind blowing.
Honestly Ravi and Nia nailed it. The expression on Sid's face. The shock, the disbelief. He couldn't believe it was real. You could practically see im fighting a battle with himself trying to distinguish if she was his reality or was Roshini just a figment of his imagination like she has been for the past two years. You could see him thinking, "I'm dreaming. This can't be real. It's too good to be real. Is she really in front of me." It was like seeing a tornado of emotions ranging on his face.
For Roshni it was her deepest longing and biggest fear combined into one. While her heart craves to be with him again she also never wanted to see him again. It's because she knows she'll lose whatever battle she's fighting in front of him. He's the mirror to her heart; her soul. He is her truest reflection. If anyone can, Sid can see right through her. She knows that she's helpless against his love. That's why she made sure he never found out she was alive because she knew he would move all heaven and earth to find her.
The expression on her face showed her own battle. She wanted to reach out and take him into her arms. To let her self go and just feel the safety and love they have for her and let go of all the pain she's been carrying within herself. At the same time she couldn't react. She's just plain speechless because how does she explain herself? She knows he will be shattered she hid the truth from him just as he was ecstatic she was alive. She knows that he'll never let her go now. The expression on her face perfectly depicted someone who's been running away from her past, living with the fear it might come in front of her and it suddenly does when she least expects him. I mean she's out of her element. I love how aware she was of the storm brewing inside Sid throughout the scene.
It was like watching two storms brewing simultaneously. A rollercoaster of emotions. I'm going to love seeing how they both finally erupt at a later date when she's forced to answer his confrontation. That might not happen for a while but it will be good.
Overall i think the CVs did justice to their reunion. It wasn't over the top or too dull. It was just right. Just them. Simple but impactful. They have it in themselves to not make a scene in front of everyone. I love how they didn't forget they were playing a role and kept going along. That's what happens in real life. You sometimes get life changing, mind boggling news but you keep continuing on because the moment requires you to do so. You can't just forget the world you're a part of and disregard your place; your role in it.
Now the precap. Sid looked so betrayed seeing Kesar and then the shock of Naina's words. I'm surprised he isn't falling with cardiac arrest. Well Roshni too for that matter. You can literally see her thinking "This can't be happening. This isn't happening." Everything she's build is coming apart in front of her in an instant. Not to forget the expression on her face hearing he's Anya's husband. It was almost comically heart wrenching.
I can't wait to see how this will proceed. So far the CVs are doing great. Nothing is too overwhelming or over the top besides Simiran and Naina's characters. I hope they won't become over bearing over the storyline but that's too much to hope for unfortunately. For me as long as Neil and Anya's characters remain true as they are now and aren't twisted into a malign disease i'll be fine.
We're up for some great episodes in the coming weeks guys.
Cheers to that.
Em.
(PS. Naina's words about Roshini becoming her daughter in law 🤢 Like please woman get a life. Stop being so over bearing and gain some tact. Talk about pressure. It was literally uncomfortable to watch.)
