What is the need to show this dad-daughter emotional scene, when she is not her own daughter Roshni he is talking and emoting about??

I'm saying Papa Patel didn't know she wasn't his daughter maybe DD had a miscarriage In the Village and arrived back to the city saying how she had a premature birth, not knowing it's someone child she stole

i know right, basically papa patel was stupid to come back to dd n rosh. Plus shabby's revenge seems stupid too now as roshni is not her step sister, there was no need of jealousy. i have to say roshni has the worst sort of parents EVER!
