Where Yash stands...

I have finally concluded that Yash isn't really a good friend. He may be there to wipe Roshni's tears or lend his ears, but the fact that he is very selfish with his love for Roshni leaves a question mark over his friendship. And yes, he is a one -dimensional character...

I'm really glad that today he was shown his place. Roshni decided to return home, rather than spend time with Yash. There's absoloutely nothing wrong with having a male friend or catching up with him...but in this context it is different & DD's intentions were far from honourable. It even bothered Sid, maybe even hurt him & Roshni felt it :)

Roshni politely told Yash that this wasn't about him. Perhaps not directly. But somewhere deep down there's a link & unintentionally Yash was shown the mirror - where he stands in Roshni's life & it's certainly NOT anywhere near Sid.

I'm very glad we had this scene today because Yash in the coffee shop a couple of epis ago really irritated me. I did not like his body language & the manner in which he tucked Roshni's hair behind her ear. That can be considered as a couple thing (IMO) & CVs should refrain from this. But on the other hand it showed the audience that Yash is in love with Roshni & will not settle for friendship. So today was very much needed. Sorry Yash. The flowers were nice but your presence sucks šŸ˜†

Very accurate. But did Yash understand where he actually stands with Roshni and that she is not comfortable with his behavior? Does he finally understand that Roshni only loves Sid and that she will never be his? I have such a doubt that he understood. I do feel that DD will make Yash in destrying Roshni's life only to prove to her that Sid is not right for her. When you see the videos of the competition, and see her meeting with Yash, it does not seem like she was happy with him being there.

even i felt he didnt understand that. Yes, Roshni is not happy with Yash being there. and Yash is getting jealous when Sidni won the competition. Hope he wont create new problems for them. Roshni really needs to put him in his place.

Would we still call Yash a friend? Yes he may have helped Roshni, yes he may have given her a shoulder to cry on but does that mean he should get something in return for doing those things? Yash is forcing himself on Roshni and he's forcing Roshni to accept him. What more does he need to understand, isn't Roshni's love for Sid which is clearly shown on her face and in her actions not enough for him? If Yash is a friend to Roshni, as he says he is, then as a friend he should do the honourable thing and step aside and let his friend do what she thinks is best for her.

I guess it's all open to interpretation. As a viewer, I feel that deep down Yash knows that Roshni loves Sid...he knows that he can't compete with him. But STILL he is doing whatever he is doing because he has this warped idea that he can make a place in Roshni's heart once Sid is out of the picture.

I'm sure Roshni will not be happy with the presence of Yash at the competition. She respects him as a friend but he's taking advantage of that.

I don't know what DD & Yash will plan but once SidNi reunite - there really isn't anything that they can do!

Some people are very stupid! They know where they belong & yet try to force their way into something because they don't want to accept that it's never gonna happen. Same thing is happening with Yash. He knows reality but isn't willing to accept it. The guy is living in fools paradise.

Yup...I didn't like the way Yash was behaving. It came across as very ungentleman like & so not classy. He knew very well that Roshni was there with her inlaws/Beeji & yet he carried on as if she was his wife/girlfriend!

I completely agree with your points. Yash is indeed forcing himself on Roshni! He is forcing her to accept him & that's not right at all. A true friend/well wisher would never do such a thing.

Roshni's love for Sid is definitely visible on her face...it's there for all to see. But Yash is choosing to overlook that for his own selfish reasons. It's definitely time for him to take a step back & let Roshni decide her path. And if it's Sid then so be it. Yash has to accept it.

Wonderfully saidšŸ‘, I completely agreešŸ‘šŸ¼ Even I was irritated with the restaurant scene and it was high time Roshni told him off. A person with a basic brain can understand what Roshni was trying to say, but Yash is a higher degree dumb man, he will still go behind her to the best bahu competition🤢 One thing that was clear from the very 1st episode of Yash introduction was, he is plain selfish🄱 I don't think that's a good criteria for a friend.
