Yadu's Lineage:- Pulastya Jee said - "Yadu had five sons - Sahastrajit, Kroshtu, Neel, Anjik and Raghu. Among them Sahastrajit was the eldest. I have already told you about his lineage, now I tell you about Kroshtu's lineage. Krishn was born in his lineage only. Kroshtu's son was Vrijineevaan Once Rukmkavach did an Ashwamedh Yagya and donated the whole Prithvi to Braahman in Dakshinaa. He had five sons - Rukmeshu, Prithurukm, Jyaamagh, Parigh and Hari. Parigh and Hari got the kingdom of Videh Desh, Rukmeshu became the king and Prithurukm lived as his dependent. Rukmeshu and Prithurukm threw their brother Jyaamagh out of their house. Jyaamagh went on Rikshvaan mountain and started living on wild fruits. Jyaamagh's wife Shibyaa was a Satee woman. Jyaamagh had a son named Vidarbh. Kaishik had a son named Chidi who had Chaidya named kings. Vidarbha Vansh:- Vidarbh's son Krath's son was Kunti, Bhajmaan's wife Srinjaya Kumaaree's son was Bhaaj whose children were called Bhaajak. Bhaaj had two wives. Both wives had many sons - Vinaya, Karun, and Vrishni. Devaavriddh's son was Babhru. Both were very qualitative. Knowers of Puraan say that 76,000 Bhoj's Lineage - Kukur's Lineage:- Kukur's son was Dhrishnu, Devak had four sons - Devavaan, Upadev, Sudev, and Devarakshak; and seven daughters - Ugrasen had nine sons, among them Kans was the eldest. He was also the youngest son of his father. Vidoorath (Bhajamaan's son) son (from Aikshwaakee) was Meedhush - Shrutdevee was married to Vriddh and gave birth to Kaaroosh. Shoorsen was the friend of Kuntibhoj so he gave his daughter Prithaa to him. In that house she became known as Kuntee. She was married to Paandu. She had three sons - Yudhishthir, Bheem and Arjun. Paandu had another wife Maadree who was the mother of two sons - Nakul and Sahadev. Vasudev's another wife Rohinee (daughter from Puru Vansh) had five sons - Birth of Krishna:- In earlier times who was the Lord of people, the same appeared as Krishna. In their earlier life Vasudev and Devakee did Tapasyaa that is how they got Krishn in this life. Krishna appeared in Chaturbhuj form. Seeing His Divine form Vasudev said - "Hide your this form because I am very frightened from Kans." At this Bhagavaan hid His Divine form and at the order of Krishna he took Him to Nand's house and said - "Take care of this child. He is Bhagavaan Himself. He will not kill anybody until there will be enough sins on Prithvi. He will work as Saarathee to Arjun in Mahaabhaarat war and in the end He will take all Yadu Vanshee to Dev Lok." Bheeshm asked - "Who were these Vasudev and Devakee who gave birth to Bhagavaan; and Nand and Yashodaa who brought Him up." Pulastya Jee said - "Vasudev is Kashyap and Devakee is Aditi. Kashyap is Brahmaa's Ansh and Aditi is Ansh of Prithvi. Nand is Drone* named Vasu and Yashoda is his wife Dharaa. Nobody was doing Yagya etc, nobody was following Dharm, so Krishn appeared in Vrishni Vansh to kill sinful Asur. Rukmini, Satyabhamaa, Satyaa (Nagnjit's daughter), Sumitra, Jambvanti (daughter of Jambhvant..ardent devotee of Shri Ram), Gaandhaar princess Lakshmanaa, Mitravrinda, Kaalindi, Charuhaasinye etc 16,000** women are Krishna's wives. Rukmini had 10 sons - Pradyumn, Ranshoor, Chaarudeshn, Suchaaru, Chaarubhadra, Sadashwa, Hriswa, Chaarugupt, Charubhadra, Chaaruk, and Chaaruhaas; and one daughter Chaarumatee Principal Yaadav Vanshee were 36 million (3 Crore 60 Lakh) in number. The Asur who were killed in Dev-Asur war were born on Prithvi and were troubling all. That is why Krishna had to come on Prithvi. There were 101 families of Yaadav in which all Devtaa were born. Krishna was the Lord of all Yaadav. They were happily living under the guidance of Krishna." ** This is well known that Krishna had 16,008 queens. Eight were His own queens, while 16,000 princess were brought from Bhaumaasur's palace. When Krishna had killed him, He found those princes in his prison. Upon freeing them they expressed their desire to marry Krishna, so He married them together and brought them to Dwaarakaa. This is taken from Padma Puran.. |
