Jab Love Hua has so far changed its timeslot thrice. And its actors are dejected with the channel. The show has had kids as its target audience and because of the reshuffling in the timeslot (three times at last count) it is losing its target audience. Worse still, the TRPs are not up to the mark. Jab Love Hua initially started with an 8.30 pm timeslot, then moved onto 10.30 and now has an 11 pm slot which is far from being called a primetime show.

"Actors are disappointed with the current timeslot as it becomes too late for kids to watch the show. We lose out on viewership and it really affects the show as it loses its fanbase. Many actors also have the worrying question whether the show is going off air since the timeslot keeps shifting," says Pratik Chavan, executive producer on the show.

"It's up to the channel and the production house to decide what timings suit the show. We actors have no say in this. The initial time slot was meant for kids and the TRPs have got affected as the kids do not get to watch the show late in the night. Nevertheless, the TRPs are still pretty decent, I believe," points out Sudip Sahir aka Raghu.

Reportedly, Rameshwari aka Janki amma has also been very upset about the changes in the slot.

On being asked about the changes in the timeslot, producer Tony Singh says, "The channel decides the timeslot. The show is meant for kids but the storyline is altered according to the slot keeping the base of the show intact. None of the actors should be saddened by this as it is not actors or the production house's prerogative. Besides, no actor can guarantee a good TRP with any timeslot. None of these actors can guarantee a hit. Actors should simply perform irrespective of the timeslot." When asked about rumours that the show might go off air, he adds calmly, "There is a first and last episode for all shows on air. We haven't yet been informed if the show is going off air."

i hate zee tv for changing the time of jlg again n again.

zee is illtreating a superb show like jab love hua ,i wished if jlh wud have beeen shown on sony channel.

I agree with U appi.JLH is one of the best shows on zee.I watched 3 bahuraniyan.couldn't sit through it even for a single episode.terrible show.compared to that JLH rocks.👏
