Seconds turned to minutes, but Nachiket didn't say anything. Ragini was getting anxious with every passing moment, and his intense stare directed on her wasn't helping.

Ragini looked into his eyes and thought: He is angry. No, he is thinking. What is he thinking? He is trying to decide. But decide what? Wait.. What is that in his eyes? No.. It couldn't be.. No..

"No!" Ragini said, eyes wide open. But she was too late to figure out what was going on in her husband's mind. Nachiket pulled on her hand, and in one swift motion, pinned her down on the bed. To say that Ragini was shocked, would be an understatement. The desire and determination was evident in his eyes. And she had seen it too late.

"I don't care what the doctor says," he said slowly yet firmly, making clear his intentions to her.

"Nachiket, we can't.." She stopped speaking when he removed his shirt. Why is he not wearing a vest under the shirt?!?! Nachiket smirked on Ragini's reaction.
"Kya bol rahi thi tum?" He asked, giving her a few moments to stare and admire. He had her where he wanted, or that's what he thought. So, when he leaned to capture her lips in a kiss, Ragini stopped him by placing her hand over his mouth. He hadn't expected this from her, so caught unaware, Ragini pushed him and got up from the bed.

"No," she said, tying the knot of her robe. When did he untie this?!? "The doctor said no. Your health is important," she managed to get the words out. She was feeling hot in the cold weather, "And.. Wear tha..that shirt," she stuttered.

Nachiket, who had a very solemn expression on his face till now, smiled wide, "No!"
Standing up on the bed, he removed his trouser too and threw it where Ragini was standing. Ragini's jaw dropped.

"I can't believe you are doing this to me!" said Ragini.

Saying so, she picked up his trousers and deposited them in the laundry hamper before taking out his pyjamas and throwing them at him.

"Ab kya hua?" The frustration was evident in his voice.

"No one's sleeping on the couch. Kapde pehno aur bed pe so jao,"

"But.."

"But what? You're going to sleep on the couch for next two weeks?" She crossed her arms over her chest, daring him to disobey her.

Wordlessly, Nachiket dressed. "I am going to make coffee. You want some?" She nodded and he left the room to prepare coffee for both of them.

Ragini sighed and opened the balcony door to let the cool breeze come into the room. She took a deep breathe, and placed her hands on the cold metal of the railing. She replayed the last 15 minutes in her mind and closed her eyes to take a deep breathe again. Just two more weeks!

This was going to be tough, Ragini knew. But she felt glad that now there was no secret between them. She had been carrying a load on her mind for all these days.
