Part 6

She woke up first. She always did.. but this time around there was a huge weight on her waist holding her down. She moved a little and opened her eyes to see Nachiket's hand around her waist pulling her back to him.. her back was facing him and she could feel his slow breath on her neck. She wanted to see him, that was the first thing she had hoped to see when she opened her eyes.

She let out a huge sigh without realizing as her mind went back to last night and how all of it seemed so out of character to her now. She wondered what had taken over her and emboldened her so much.. in just their first time after so many years. She grinned sheepishly and then turned to face him, propping herself on the elbow.

And there he was, his hand now lazily drifting up her waist subconsciously. Still deep asleep, he tried to snuggle closer to her but then drifted off.. she held his arm and adjusted it so she felt the warmth of his palm on her lower back and pretended he was hugging her. His mouth was open, just as it always was when he was enjoying perfect sleep. She couldn't keep away from gently lifting his chin to close his mouth and then trailing her finger on his lips

"I blame you, Nachiket Khanna"

and then she smiled and lay her head on the pillow again, looking back at him all the time..
