Khushi was happily married to Arnav but a year after that, Arnav had disappeared after their confrontation & had never returned. Khushi has a cute baby boy named Aarav who is now 5 years old. But she is now a single mother. Everyone asked her, "Where is your husband?"Khushi: He is dead. If he was alive, he would have been with us.
After they left, Khushi cries looking at Aarav as his traits reminded her of his father
Flashback (in the first year of their marriage)
Arnav and Khushi got married. Arnav does the grahapravesh rituals carries Khushi to his room.
Arnav said," Welcome to Raizada Mansion Mrs. Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada."
Khushi: It is very much fortunate for me to be your wife.
Khushi removes her jewelry. Arnav helps her to remove it. Both go to different places for the honeymoon & have romantic moments like candlelight dinner. The background song is

At the end of their first year of their marriage anniversary
Arnav gifts her the dress and said, "Wear this and come."
Khushi changes her dress and comes. Arnav is lost in her beauty. He comes forward. Khushi goes backward.
Arnav: What did I tell you?
Khushi: What?
Arnav: I told you that when I come forward, you should not go back. You should also come forward.
Khushi: Ok Boss.
Khushi comes forward. Both hug each other tightly.
The next day, both go for the lunch together. A month later, Khushi felt nauseating. She goes to the doctor for the medical checkup. The reports revealed that she is pregnant. One day, Arnav gets a call. He goes there without informing Khushi & does not return.This makes Khushi upset.
One day, Khushi gets the news from Shyam saying, "Arnav will never come back as he moved on with some other girl."
Khushi: What a joke!
Shyam shows Arnav's picture with Lavanya and tells her, "You go to his office and find out."
Khushi goes to his office and sees him with Lavanya. After she left, Arnav & Khushi go out.
Khushi confronts Arnav: So this is the reason you left without informing me & did not return.
Arnav: Do you think I married you because I loved you? No way! I wanted to feel you that is why I pretended to love you & have married you.
He leaves. Khushi is hurt but decided to live for her child.
Flashback ends.
Khushi misses Arnav but never tried to contact him.
Khushi picks up Aarav from his school. After they come back, Khushi & Aarav search for a storybook which they had brought. They search the entire house but did not find it. Aarav checks the cupboard & finds Arnav's medical reports. He takes the medical reports to Khushi and asked, "Whose file is this?"
Khushi opens the file & learns that Arnav had not betrayed her and Lavanya was his doctor who has been treating him.
Khushi meets Lavanya at the hospital with the reports & asked, "Where is Arnav?"
Lavanya: Arnav passed away 3 months back. He was suffering from brain tumor.
Khushi: Why didn't you tell me that?
Lavanya: Arnav told me not to tell this to anyone. Shyam was working with me in the hospital. He had committed a fraud getting the patient killed only to put me down. He is behind the bars. But in the process, he wanted to tarnish my image. I could not tell you the truth later as I was bound to his promise. He knew that you are a strong-willed person & will find different means to take care of yourself & the child but you will break down when you see him suffering. He never wanted to be a burden on you. So he pretended to hate you. This is the letter which he left for you before dying.
Khushi: Thank you very much.
She goes home and opens the envelope. She finds the letter and a check of Rs 10 crore.
Dear Khushi,
I am sorry that I spoke to you rudely. I wanted to be with you during your pregnancy state but I didn't know that I would be getting a call from the outside world. This is the check which I am giving you apart from the insurance coverage. Please give the best education to our child so he will be able to take care of our empire. If you break down after reading this letter, I won't be able to rest in peace. I am always with you. I love you Khushi.
Your Laad Governor,
Arnav Singh Raizada.
Aarav comes to Khushi & said, "My father is very bad. He left us. My classmates are making fun of me that he left me."
Khushi: You should not talk like that. Do they know what happened to him?
Aarav: No.
Khushi: Tell them I am your mother & father. I am taking care of his business with his brothers.
She shows the letter to Aarav & explains what is written in this letter.
Aarav: My dad is not a human. He is a hero & a superman.
Khushi & Aarav give a fi to each other. Their life goes on.
