Yes two people can have same surname. But since you seem to be a big IPK fan don't you think people will always think he has some connection with Arnav and will always be compared with season 1? It's a brand new show toh surname bhi koi new rkhte just like Shivaay Singh Oberoi. Just my Opinion.

@ScreamForMe:- I totally agree with you yaar. They should have gone with a different surname. It would have saved Gul too a lot of negativity and neutral fanbase wouldn't have been confused. But I guess they wanted to retain some elements of season 1 - Plus season 1 has been over for 5 yrs so I guess they felt people wouldn't be confused if they use the same Surname.

Plus I think they are going to show the destruction of Advay's family early enough to justify Advay's revenge so that would hopefully clear the remaining confusion.

I wouldn't have taken any other surname except " Singh Raizada " simply because certain entitled psycho people understands that they don't own the title of ASR , in fact they don't frigging own any thing , not the name , title, music , show name , and any other freaking thing . 😃😆 It's the intellectual property and copy right of SP and GUL and they can do whatever the eff they want with it and no body has absolutely any right to call them out on it.

And as for confusion , it'll be clear in the 1st episode itself , if not in the next promo , who knows it may feature Advay's parents. 😉😆

actually no one is this fool not to understand that this has nothing to do with IPK1. people will understand it in first episode itself if they havent already.

as fer as comparing comes... Barun no matter what character had done or no matter who would be his FL would always get compared... even if it was not IPK people will do that.

biggest thing.. I dont think people are stuck in IPK (I am talking about normal TV audience)

and the last point is... Channel should not have gone for another tittle... if he is bound to get compared let him get compared properly! I believe in using things if they can give you anything... why not!
