The clothes are quirky, I get that! But it is in no way a deal breaker for the show. I mean look at IB. Even after the bizarre story line and costumes, it is still a top show. Gul knows what works for the TRP audience.
My MIL is visiting from India and she never misses IB and DBO. She says she watches it for the clothes and the jewelry and the set and the decorations they do almost every day for one event or the other. She LOVES it! She says they're very different and she's amazed at the kind of clothes they wear. 😆
Anyway, coming to your point Gargi...Harneet said Gul and her have been working on this story for more than a year. Since it is a finite show, I am hoping they have a well chalked out story with believable twists and turns. THAT is more important.
IPK1 had terrible clothes too, albeit in the opposite end of the spectrum. But we still loved it, yeah? Let's not be too hung up on the clothes before the show airs. As long as Shivani can carry it off, I can tolerate the gaudy outfits. What I want more than anything else is a logical story line. 😊
PS: Meera was a very well etched out FL. Independent, modern, non-judgmental and easy going. It gives me a lot of hope for Chandu. 😳
