Their thoughts and wishes are oceans apart. Kavi, his thinking is clear and colored by his own belief in what he thinks about her. But this incident happened very naturally, it was not devised by him.

And it hurts the way Arnav is ignoring her love and instead labelling it as lust. Yup he would brand her love as lust only. and that would surely break her heart.

PS What's making him question her love for him? He knows that she's the sweet/innocent type and the whole Shyam episode is just a joke, so why...??? It looks like something happened to change his perception of her yet again.

Aha...the plot thickens. Why do I feel Arnav the commitment phobe is now panicked and in his ASR mode because of something he wants to wrest out of Khushi? Anu, my dear...He is commitment phobic for sure and he is not even thinking of going into that direction unlike what poor Khushi is thinking...😭 Is he testing her to see what she will choose? No he is not testing her...This happens quite spontaneously...Yes, Khushi being her naive and simple self might always choose to tell him the truth, but there are so many half truths between them that perhaps that is what ASR is trying to cut through to here. Truth about what he heard in the phone conversation comes out and how he drops the bomb to her later that is something to know for later... Super...waiting! And yes girl, good writing takes time. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Rome...and certainly no magnum opus - was ever created in a day! Awww thanks love...it does take lot of time and energy to write for sure...😆🤗
