The idea of Jashn has been a delight to us fans. It may be nothing more than business for the channel, but only we know how much it means to us. As Khushi would say, aapke liye business hoga, par humare liye nahin. We kept yearning for some sort of closure for three years. Not only did this give us the closure we needed, it reignited the passion in many of us, bringing back old FF writers and enthusiasts, filling the IPK universe with more beautiful creations.
Where can you find another fan group as passionate as us? Even if there are others with equal amount of passion, I doubt there are others who are as lucky as us, in the respect that our beloved set of actors are a close-knit bunch. Even though our show ended abruptly, seeing them together from time to time in real life gave us some solace. I doubt you could get the cast of any other show for an epilogue. The leads may not agree to come together, and even if they do...the supporting cast may not come...or they all might simply have scheduling conflicts. But here we have people who would actually take out time each for other and would be genuinely happy to do this. They are more than happy to do this for us and for themselves.
We no longer have to look at calendar and think of 30th Nov as something akin to doomsday. That painful memory has now been replaced.
I did love the idea of Arnav's musings. It gave us his perspective on past events and we got to see this brand new side of Arnav...and not to mention, they were able to close multiple tracks. I don't think he became henpecked. He no longer has a reason to be that broody and ruthless man who was trapped in his own prison. I for one, no longer fancy ruthless men much. Perhaps, I am getting old. 😆 And I am happy to see this Arnav who no longer feels inhibited. So even if he is joru ka ghulam, it's not out of compulsion...it's out of love.
But after the third episode, it did seem like it was stretching too long and I was yearning for a glimpse of our beloved Sanka Devi. The wait started to seem endless because the episodes only come on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
What is a body without its soul? The two has to come together to bring life. What is earth without the sun? Arnav without Khushi, is like a body without its soul and it wouldn't have hurt if we had more scenes of these two together. Because when it comes to these two, less is never more. 😳
When Arnav opened the door to Naniji's bedroom, it's like he let the sunlight in. Not only did it lit up his face and it lit up mine too. 😃
Khushi is back.
Arhi is back.
IPK is finally back.
