And yes, you have partly convinced me with your views.. ! So as you said let's wait for the Pandora box to.open.. And I hope before the Alzheimer struck, they were not divorced...because we have nothing going for or against it..

And yes, the last line.. I feel Bhushan grew distant...or something closer to that!!

Sadhu, if this was the case with Arnav's mother in Limerence story, then I would never have said that Arnav should show some humanity towards her incase she had developed a terminal illness.

Here Nidhi stayed with the kids all her life and I am guessing that she was a good mother or else why would an adolescent Khushi dedicate her life to her mother's care right.

I agree Nidhi wronged, but having said that when she was dying, was the wrong so huge that she could not have been pitied by her own son.

We hear of so many divorce cases where parents share custody of the kids right. Lets say the divorce was due to infidelity, and irrespective of whether it was mom or dad, kids usually spend their time and lives with both parents right.

Even if Bhushan divorced Nidhi, but the fact never changes that Akash is a son to both of them.
That was my opinion.

Ofcourse everyone is entitled to their own opinion and frankly there is nothing like wrong or right here, it is just perceptions.

PS: Sorry Cheeni for referring to another story here but somehow could not stop myself from comparing the scenario.

Di, goodness I thought the same.. about Limerence.. but yeah I agree Di. Gosh you conceived the Lawyer in me.. Yes, I agree with what Akash should have done.. what I felt was with Bhushan's behaviour Di...that is if they had divorced.. if not, then I would say for humanitarian sakes he should have helped.. I agree di, hands down!

Only feeling I had was when you see something, the impression is more right.. so I was thinking from that perspective.. like every time he decides to help that thought would cross right? Given that he was too young. But yeah, at least over time he should have matured, if not towards his mom, towards Khushi for sure..

All said and done, we are humans.. And mistakes do happen.. some mistakes cost us too dear.. we are all flawed..And let's see how much it has cost him here..

But yeah did Khushi try to understand her bro? Or her dad, for that matter? Ofc maybe she was too young..

I know, witnessing the act with his own eyes must have scarred Akash so much, its unimaginable. No kid should witness such a thing.

And Akash was also only 17 years at that time. He was still a kid too.
Maybe it was too much for him to handle at that time and seeing his dad drinking away must have hurt him more and more.

But if Nidhi felt guilty about what she did, then she must have also suffered equally. And over that getting such a horrible disease, she must have thought she is paying for her sins.
But the question is if Nidhi regretted her actions, did Akash know about it.

And poor Khushi, not knowing anything suffered the most, don't you think so.

She never knew why her parents separated, or why Akash ditched them, or why is that she had to look after her mother alone? What was her mistake in all of this?

And I think the biggest mistake Akash did was abandoning Khushi. He knew everything yet left his little sister to suffer alone. That is something I am finding it hard to digest.

Hi People, so I am back on thread now. I have read everyone's point of view and I must say I am quite amazed. How different we think, don't we? Some say Akash is wrong and some say his mother was more wrong. This discussion makes me very happy. You guys are thinking so much, spending your precious time here discussing about Nidhi, Akash and Khushi. There is a friend of mine who had once said, one precious thing we can give to people is our time. And I truly appreciate it. Your time is very important to me!

I would say, life is unfair, so are humans!
As far as Khushi is concerned, I would say she was wrong too somewhere. How and why? Lets wait. Gupta family is dysfunctional!

@Sadh and Kavi Di, it is fine if you bring comparisons on this thread. No worries!

And yes Tanu and Sadh were right when Kavi Di asked about that last line, this incident had changed Bhushan so much that his own son could not identify him.

Heads up people, this update might take little longer or may be not. As Sadhu's fears have come true, University hates Master students. So, update can be late.

This is my reply to discussion, I will reply to other comments soon.

Again, I appreciate your time. No words can describe my happiness!

Edited:
There is one thing, I am wondering no one got. But I am going to give a hint, Akash doesn't appreciate another thing about his Mother. What did she do? 😉 No other element of past is needed to conclude that!

Kavi Di, I am hands down agreeing to what you are saying! Khushi was not at fault, but somewhere there is her fault too... which Cheenu has promised to let us know and i am way too eager to know why is she at fault!!

Hint : Maybe because Nidhi was responsible for the drifting in the family.. Like Akash and Bhushan were projected in the bad light in front of Khushi which caused the family to disintegrate...

the second option was what Kavi Di has written...alcohol and drugs..

the last one : Maybe Akash was forced to chose the other Uni (which he had no plans to do, initially)...

finally, why did Nidhi stay back in the first place?

Sadhu, I am resing too
----------------------------------------

What did I res for??? 😕

Umm since I resed and I am unresing now, is Akash pissed off with his mother as her acts drove his father towards alcohol.

Gum bhulanekilye sharaab ka sahara liya Bhushan ne!!!!

I am not getting any other reason. Did she ask for divorce first?
Did she drive him away from the kids?

Okay enough of my guess work and I will leave the rest for others. 😉

The reason I didn't comment on khushi's mother's past had we have yet to the story one, secondly I didn't to comment on akasha abandoning his baby sister because every human have a capacity to take certain things in the their stade so askha have his emotional and physical limits.
Every one is not selfless and every one has their reasons to act. So I am not judging any one here because who am I to jugde them.
And cheeni ur doing amazing job dear to reinforcing and reminding us not to be judgmental .
I know ur much younger to me but my dear I have come to respect u and adore u for the work ur doing in ur capacity.
Love u .
Bye, all best for ur projects.
Thank u

Hello Mamta 😃

Yes every human has a capacity, some think about others, some just drown themselves in their own misery. What happened with Akash is still not very clear here.

Thank you so much, your words mean a lot. I am just trying to keep this story as real as possible, no sugar coating, nothing. And words of appreciation means a lot! 😳
