I can understand where Veenita was coming from and her condition was of a bird whom had locked herself in the golden cage by her own hands ... Ams she cared enough for khushi to tell her not to get involve with her son for she too will end up like her . ...
I feel disgusted by Payal ... She is every name in the book ...

So I feel this story is slowly coming to a present time at the night Arnav's engagement part ????

Very very nice story so far
I like how it's progressing
Plzzz include me in your pm list

Part 12

Khushi had woken up to feel Arnav's hands slowly sliding up and down on her bare bottom.
She'd opened eyes in horror of it already being morning only to look around and realise that it was still dark.

"It's just just three thirty," she'd heard Arnav whisper, his hand now her hip, pushing her down on the bed again.

"Arnav, I should go back to my room before someone finds out.."

His lips had landed on her throat as he'd stared caressing her skin, dropping kisses in between.

"Arnav..." She'd moaned struggling with her mind to get up and leave. She'd just decided to untangle herself from him and leave when his leg had landed on her thigh, stopping her from moving away.

She looked up at him with parted lips as his hand on her behind had pulled her more into him, her slowly growing need coming to press against his.

"I'm going back tomorrow night..." he's whispered then looking into her eyes before leaning towards her lips and capturing them in his for a heated kiss.

With his hand still feeling up her behind, his touch no more gentle, but rather rough, pushing her more and more into his need; his mouth had travelled to her neck, teasing, nipping, tasting her skin. The fight of leaving his bed forgotten, she'd begin to respond with equal fervour, her hands sliding up and down the smooth expanse of his back, trying to relish the feel of his flexing, twitching muscles.

They hadn't made love in so long. Sometimes she would get so lonely and miss his touch so much that she'd just lay in the darkness of her room and touch herself the way he'd taught her to and imagine being him. She'd come within minutes, gasping but never moaning, lest her sister hears her. She'd cry after it, for she knew they'd probably not be together that way anymore.

So to be in arms and being touched by him, anticipating what she'd waited for so long, of him being inside her, had been overwhelming, especially she'd felt his need slowly growing and poking her skin.

She slid down his body to adjust to him better, her heat and wetness now pressing into his fully erect manhood. He'd groaned in pleasure with that move as her lips had started placing wet kisses on his chest. Her hips had begin to move on their own accord against his manhood, trying to make him feel her need for him. She'd be so wet and slick between her legs that it wasn't long before she'd shifted one leg in between his both scissoring hers, their most intimate parts beginning to slowly, sensually rub against each others as they moved.

Her mind had gone so dizzy with every part of their bodies rubbing against each other, and their lips attacking that she didn't know when he'd flipped her on her back to increase the pace and the pressure.

She cried out when in between he'd moved away but it was only to position himself better for entering her. She spread out her thighs even more as he guided his manhood towards into her depth. Slowly going in as he held up her hips to meet his, and stretching her.

She'd almost whimpered just as he'd reached fully reached in. She'd never felt like that before, so very dizzy, her head feeling almost light with pleasure with this skin to skin contact.

Her eyes had widened in horror. They hadn't used any protection!

As if guessing her thoughts, he bent down and said, "I'll...I'll pull out in time. Don't worry."

"Oh...oh...ok."

"You trust me, right?"

She'd nodded sighing in relief. She did trust him. Besides, he'd then kissed her making her forget all about it, the pleasure taking over.

They hadn't spoken a word after that as he'd started moving in and out her warm depth, taking her along. This new skin to skin contact taking them to new heights of pleasure as he mounted her, his fingers tightly gripping her hips and her nails digging into his forearm, where she held him.

She orgasmed first, without a warming with a long stroke of his length. Her insides clenched and she let go of herself, her body twisting and turning as she did so, for he continued to hold and move within in her until he too found his release, withdrawing himself out in time and shedding his load onto the blanket they'd been sleeping in.

She hardly gave herself time to catch breath as she quickly got off the bed before he could pull her to him and make her forget everything again.

He looked on disappointed as she dressed ignoring just how tired and sore she felt and made herself look presentable.

He'd lit up a cigarette as he'd watched her with intent eyes as she got dressed, getting her aroused again. She went up to him.

"It's four in the morning. Why must you smoke now?"

"It's four in the morning, why must you leave now?"

"Arnav..." She'd said as she moved closer and pecked on his lips, "I have to go."

"I know" he'd said against her lips, his hand playing with her open hair.

"Don't smoke so much, Arnav," ahe'd said, giving him another peck, her head falling to be shoulder as she'd felt him take take another drag of his smoke and smile at the same time.
"Are you listening to me?" I'd asked placing kisses on his neck.

"It's not that easy." He'd replied.

"You haven't even tried.." She'd argued.

"Is there a reason to?"

Her fingers had slowly reached his aa she'd taken the cigarette from him and nubbed it. "Your lungs."

He'd chuckled as he let her kiss his neck and then his lips. Sighing she'd had gotten up then leaving him looking at her back. She'd taken her usual route, his balcony. Except that particular morning, she'd jumped down from the balcony to come face to face with Arnav's grandmother. It hadn't been the first time she'd caught me where I wasn't supposed to be.

It was still dark, the light almost beginning to come out, and the birds had started chirping too. I'd completely forgotten, dadi began her walk a little before falling five.

"Dadi ji, I was just..."

"Walk with me," she'd simply said as she'd began to walk. Dadi was an admirable woman. Always poised and put together, she is what, Khushi was told her by her family, put the family together. Her husband had passed away long back, and her only son, Arnav's father, basked the family wealth and could never handle the Raizada business the way his father had. They said, he was a mere puppet and it was dadi who held the strings.

With her stomach clenching Khushi had followed her.

"What were you doing in Arnav's room?" She'd asked with her face staring ahead.

"Dadi ji, I was not - "

"Call me Dadi. Just dadi. Everyone calls me that," she'd said then. Her voice not angry. Just neutral. Even Sweet.

"Okay. Dadi, I...we...he had to help me with some..."

She'd chuckled then. "Do you think I haven't noticed you two? She'd said, still looking ahead.

"Dadi, it's not like that. Arnav and I..."

"I'm not talking about Arnav and you. I'm talking about your sister and you."

"Payal and I...?"

"Do you think I haven't noticed the trips Payal makes to my son's office?"

Her heart pounding against her chest she'd said in a small voice, "they work together..."

Another chuckle. "My son is not a man I can change, but you sisters stay away from my grandson."

Tears stringing her eyes, she'd considerably slowed as dadi had continued with her pace.

Dadi stopped then to let her catch up. "I'm - I'm not like my sister."

"I know. But when Arnav gets married and he gets the property, it'll change things. Money changes everything."

"Dadi - "

"Vineeta had told me about sending you abroad for further education. Tell me, where do you want to go?"

"Dadi, I don't want to..." She'd said as she'd cried into her hands.

Dadi had suddenly stopped and turned towards her. Pulling at khushi's hands away from her face, she'd cupped her face as she said, "It's been so many years, I can't ask your family to leave. Your father has given his services to us since so many years, and so has your mother. And you too! I've practically see you grow into this beautiful woman. I don't know why your sister has turned out like this, but you shouldn't, Khushi. You shouldn't."

"I'm not like her. I don't want money..I..I love Arnav, dadi."

She'd been engulfed in a hug then. It was warm and soft and therefore it broke her heart when she heard dadi say,

"Arnav will come back from university after a few months to work with us. Try not be here when he's back. Wherever you want to go to study, I'll send you. I'll even give you a nice job. You don't worry about your father. We'll take care of him."

Khushi had broken down on her shoulder hearing that.

"You don't want to end up like your sister before you've reached anywhere in life, Khushi. You don't. Imagine what your family would have to go through." She'd said running a soothing hand on her back, except it wasn't soothing at all. It burned.
"Go and sleep now, child. You look like you need rest."

Nodding she'd pulled back from the older woman and had broken into a run wanting nothing more than to go back into her room, push her face against her pillow and fall asleep forgetting everything that had just happened in the few hours. She'd done exactly that.

--------

She had woken up with a headache. It had been afternoon and she didn't remember exactly how many calls of by Aman she'd rejected and messages she hadn't read.

The soreness between her legs was a good morning call reminding her of exactly what all that had happened since the night before.

A fear had settled in ever since dadi had had told her not to end up like Payal. She'd thought about it for a while before figuring it out. Payal had gotten pregnant at twenty one and dadi had thought...

Her stomach churched each time she'd get that thought reminding her that they hadn't used a condom the previous night. He'd pulled out in time but there was always a what if. What if she got pregnant? What if she ends up just like Payal?

Ignoring the thought, she'd gone through her messages. There were four by Aman, one by Arnav and couple of others from college friends.

She'd tried not to open it but her fingers had tapped on his name first.
"Morning. Thinking about you. Meet me later." --- Arnav's message had said.

The ones by Aman were frantic "where are you? Are you ok? Why are not coming to college? Ok, meet me in eve."

Her phone had beeped again in her hand. Arnav's message.

She opened it with her heart thudding against her chests. It said:

"You okay, baby? I want to see you."

With her hands shivering she typed, "I'm ok, Arnav. I'll see you soon." And hit send. It's been a lie, but she didn't want to break his heart so soon.

She'd thrown her head back into the pillow just as her mother had walked in.

"Khushi, Devyani ji told me she offered to pay for your college. How wonderful is that? How helpful have their family been to us."

"Ma...I'm not taking her money." She'd stated.

"What nonsense is this Khushi? You'd refused vineeta ji's offer too and now this? Are you stupid?"

"There family has been too helpful. And that is exactly the reason I can't take no more."

"We don't have the sort of money needed to send you to a business school."

she'd gulped. "I'd try to earn my own money. I'll do a job if I can right after graduation. MBA can wait."

"But Khushi..."

"Ma, please...not right now.."

"But what is the matter? Did someone say anything to you?"

She'd turned her face at that, the tears starting to flow down the sides of her face.

"No one said anything ma...I just..."

"Think about it, Khushi. You've been lucky so far. You went to such a big school, got into a good college. You're the only one we have...we have expectations from you. Don't let us down."

She'd bit her bottom lip to stop herself from crying out loud, from her body to shake due to the tears escaping her eyes. Khushi hadn't replied to that and heard her mother leave after a while which is when she'd finally given into tears openly.

She hadn't gotten off the bed till the evening, just thinking how she was to handle things now, what had gotten so wrong with her life and just why exactly she'd taken that step the previous night. She'd known the fate of their relationship and yet she's dared to hope, dared to given in to desires.

She had just bathed and changed, and walking back into her room when she saw Aman waiting there.

"What the hell yaar, where have you been?"

"Oh, Aman...hi..."

"Why didn't you reply Khushi? Got me worried."

"Sorry Aman...I was a little sick and..."

"Sick? Kya hua? Are you okay? Doctor ko dikhaya..." He'd went on. She hadn't wanted to meet anybody that day and yet her mother had let him barge in.

"I asked you not to come here Aman..."

He'd rolled her eyes at that. "Yeah I know I know I'm not suppose to come here till your boyfriend is here or he'll get jealous but..."

"He's not my boyfriend!"

"Yeah right!"

"Aman, please I don't want to...talk right now, with anyone. I'll meet you tomorrow, okay?"

"Khushi yaar, you're getting me worried. Theek toh hai na tu? Something happened Kya?

"Aman, yaar just leave me alone for a while. I'm sick of you always being there... You're just..."

Everything got quiet after that.

"Shit. I didn't mean that Aman..but I just..."

"It's okay, Khushi. I know...I've been a...needy friend. But what can I say, you're the only good friend I have. I didn't know you were feeling so suffocated because of it."

"Oh god, Aman I'm sorry. I've had a bad day and I don't know what I've been saying today."

"It's okay. I'll go. You try to chill ok? And if you need me...mai toh idhar hi hoon."

"Aman, I'm sorry, really..."

"Dude, chill."He'd said, his kind face breaking into a smile finally, "zyada sorry sorry nai ho raha hai ab?"

For whatever reason his silly attempt to lighten the moment made her hug him. And then cry when she'd pulled back. By then, she'd thought her tears would have dried, but they continued to emerge.

"f**k, what's wrong Khushi?"

"Nothing..."

"Of course, it's something. You wouldn't be howling your eyes out otherwise."

"I'm sorry, I just.. I don't know why am I..."

"Tell me..you'll feel better."

"It can't...ever feel better."

"You had a fight with Arnav?" He'd asked then.

"No, Aman.. It's nothing."

"Come," he'd said then taking her hand, "let's go out for icecream."

"What? No." She'd said in between tears.

"Yes. You need to eat ice cream and loosen up a bit. Now wipe your tears, I'm not taking a cry girl out."

She'd giggled at that.

"Chal at least you laughed. Let's go now."

She could have refused but she realised she'd wanted to go. She'd wanted to eat ice cream and then finally tell someone the weightage she'd been carrying her. She'd badly wanted to finally talk.

Improving her appearance, she'd let him lead her out.

"So now tell me the issue with you." He'd said as he'd handed her the ice cream.

"It's a long story."

"I have all the time in the world."

Sighing she'd told him exactly what was bothering her, right from when Arnav's mother has asked her to stay away from Arnav to today when his dadi had asked her to do the same. And everything in between.

"Damn," he'd said by the end. "This is shitty."

She'd simply shrugged in reply.

"So, you have to stay away from Arnav because..."

"Because he's rich and is obviously going to marry someone his class. But he might just have an affair with me because I'd be around in the house like my sister is having with his father. Dadi doesn't what that." She didn't how she was being so casual about it.

"Wow. Shadi and all, huh? Dadi is thinking long term."

"Do you think if he gets married to someone else, I'll think of having an affair with him? It'll hurt me but affair..."

"Look, Khushi, Arnav's father is a dick. Don't mean to be rude, but it is what it is. He has...multiple affairs. Most men in our society do so he's not very different I would say."

Khushi had almost forgotten that he'd once had an affair with Aman's mother too. They hadn't discussed it ever but Khushi knew it was exactly why Arnav and Aman had a dislike for each other.

"But will Arnav turn out like him? She'd asked them.

"I wouldn't be surprised if he does turn out like his father. I mean, he does look exactly like him."

They'd sat in silence for a while. It had started to get dark but she didn't want to return home just yet. She'd deliberately even left her phone behind for this reason.

"Aman..."

"Hm?"

"I've to ask you something."

"Can someone get pregnant if someone has sex without condom but her partner pulls out in time?" She'd asked. She's never had close female friends and Aman was her best friend. She could generally talk to him about anything and everything.

He'd raised an eyebrow as he'd asked curiously..."who is this someone?"

"A friend," she'd answered.

"Well," he'd said with a smile, "there's a fat chance. Probably about twenty percent. I'd read that in an article actually..."

Her stomach had churned uncomfortably at that. "Ohh."

"But you still got that eighty percent."

"It's not me we're talking about."

"I was just speaking generally. And anyway there are those pills available, right? Those emergency ones? The you're supposed to have within 2-3 days? Just pop one in."

"Oh. I should tell my friend to do that then."

"Aah, we need better sex education in our country!" He'd said getting up. "Because kids these days..."

She'd rolled her eyes at him, "look at you talking like you're a phd in sex"

"Hey, maybe I should pursue that, what do you say? Is it my calling finally?"

"Aman," she'd said chuckling, "you speak bullshit."

He'd bowed at that. "Now get up Khushi, it's eight. Mammi se pitwana hai Kya?"

Reluctantly she'd gotten up, not wanting to go back, "please, we're in college, my mother doesn't say anything now..."

"Yeah, yeah..." He'd say as they'd walked back home.

At the turn of Shantivan where they usually parted ways, he'd stopped her before she could get through the gate and said, "if your friend needs the the pill and isn't able to get it herself from the chemist, I'll be there to help..."

She'd averted her eyes at that, not wanting to cry again. "Aman - "

"Tomorrow morning?" He'd asked.

Khushi had nodded pressing her lips together to stop them from trembling. No questions asked, he'd offered to do that for her!

"You'll be alright?"

She'd nodded again, this time throwing her arms around him. She couldn't believe she'd gotten mad at him for showing up. Him. Her best friend.

"Thank you."

----------

She'd decided she wouldn't meet Arnav but go see him right before he leaves giving them the littlest time to spend time with each other and for her heart to break a little less.

But she was greeted by seven of his texts and a few phone calls. He had been thinking that she was ignoring him.

Knowing he wouldn't come to the outhouse in search of her for she'd asked him not to saying her parents wouldn't be alright with it, she'd been about to reply with an excuse when her mother had come into the room.

"Khushi?"

"Han ma."

She'd looked at her a little curiously before saying, "Arnav is here."

"Ohh"

"He's waiting outside."

"I think he's leaving tonight so he wants to..."

"Don't give me all these excuses. You know what you're supposed to do. Now go talk to him, he'd come before too while you were out."

She'd taken her time to reach him, thinking how to say goodbye without bowling her eyes out again making him curious. But all her plans flew out of the window when the moment she reached him, he pulled her into a hug.

With his head on her shoulder he'd pulled her by the waist, his hands starting to go up and down her back as his nose had begun to caress her neck.

"Where were you Khushi?"

She'd sighed as told him, "I'd gone out with Aman."

"At least lie to make me feel better." His hands then coming to caress her sides, dangerously close to her breasts.

Her heart beginning to thud, she'd asked "What?"

He'd brought his lips close to her ear as he bit out, "You ignored me throughout the day making me go through hell and what I find out in the evening? Khushi has gone out with best friend Aman for ice cream! Ice f**king cream!"

It's not at all how she'd imagined their goodbye to be like. "It's - it's not like that Arnav. He'd come so we just...I wasn't feeling well throughout the day."

"And then you were suddenly well for ice cream?" His whispers had been low. Dangerous. I knew I was going to be hurt soon. I knew how it ended when he became like that.

"How could you forget last night...this morning so soon, baby? How?"

"I didn't forget Arnav..."

"Dadi, is perhaps right. Maybe you're just like your sister too."

"What?"

"Now that you know I don't want any of my family's money, that I won't return, you're leaning towards Aman."

"Arnav, what are you saying..." She'd said angrily, trying to get out his hold, but he'd tightened his grip around her waist.

"Everyone knows about your sister's affair with my father, Khushi. They were f**king each other even when my mother was dying!"

"Arnav," she'd said cupping his face, "I'm sorry..."

"Don't be."

"Arnav, dadi has found out about us...she...she's angry and doesn't want me to see you any more."

His chuckle had confused her making her remove her hands from his face.

"I don't usually listen to that woman, but this time..."

"Arnav, please don't leave with such a thought in your mind. It'd really hurt me." she didn't know how and why she's pleading but somehow it was important to make him understand that.

He'd pulled her angrily towards him again, "and do you know how hurt I am? First have that woman fill my ears with that shit and then come to find out that you've gone out for ice cream with Aman!"

"Arnav..." She'd said. Not knowing how to tell him all that she'd wanted to say, she'd leaned up to kiss him. Her face wet with tears, she'd peck his lips till he pulled her by her nape and kissed her full on the lips.

"Did you practise on Aman first?" He'd asked just as he'd pulled away.

"What?" She'd still been dazed after the kiss, unable to think what he was talking about.

"Cock sucking."

"What?"

He'd simply shrugged in reply. Fuming she'd pushed at his chest resulting him to hit a wall behind him.

"You don't mean that."

He hadn't said anything. "Oh, I know he pines for you Khushi. He's not made a girlfriend in years!"

"Tell me you didn't mean that, Arnav." She'd said walking up to him and cupping his face again, "please..."

She'd withdrawn her hands when he hadn't replied and backed away a few steps.

"So I am the s**t that you and our entire school thought I was, huh?"

She'd waited, really waited for him to correct her, to apologise. When he hadn't she'd taken a few more steps back saying, "when you come back, I won't be here."

"Good," he'd straightened, "'cause I'm not coming back."

Res...will be back after the read!

Unres...

Taking off from the last chapter...this was super. While the world may consider Arnav's actions quite unreasonable and unfair to Khushi...the truth is she is and has always been a willing participant. They are young, and somewhere in the back of their minds...do not give a damn what may happen in the future. Interesting to see that Dadi has the same advice to give her as Vineeta Raizada did...to stay away from Arnav. It is truly sad that despite knowing Khushi well enough they unilaterally tar her as not good enough for Arnav...simply because she does not belong to the same social class as they do...unfortunate and unfair. I do hope Arnav will protest, even if Khushi cannot summon up the courage to revolt. It is nice that she has Aman for support...but yeah...considering she is marrying him in the present, not sure where they are going to with all the confidences...poor Khushi is so incredibly lonely in this equation...hope Arnav mans up and stands tall beside her in her confrontations in the future.

Great pace with the narrative, Lily. Waiting to see the past catch up to the present now.

PS...this update has been double-posted, Lily. You may want to remove one.

Best,

I guess Arnav is total ass...I know he is hurt with his mothers death then this Payal fiasco ...now daadi also filled his ears...n he was never tolerant about Aman khushi friendship...but all in all I guess there was never trust in this relationship ...n they were too young to beat the shit thrown to them...

I love Aman hope he doesn't turn vile...
