you changed diwali for me forever. you left behind asr still standing at that poolside, eyes lost yet concentrated on a face that is so powerful in its allure he's forgotten all else.
and there he stands, aman soon to disturb him, a most curious moment in time, and in an alice in wonderland world, the white rabbit has decided to keep it there forever...
along with all the sleepless nights that man by the pool set off. and youtube rewatches till 3.45am, my daughter looking at me with a "what am i to do with you" look, the thrill, the sheer excitement, and some of the most indescribably relevant times in my life.
how can i wish you anything but the most sacred and happy diwali ever. this is a crucial year for you in many ways. may the lights bring luck and more. all the best to you, your wife, your parents and family.
