Hey guys...i know i am not a very good writer and really it hurts me to see so less 'likes' and 'comments' for my works as i work hard on my stories but it breaks my heart to get hate letters for that! Guys this is gonna be my last ff if it doesn't get any 'likes' or 'comments' then i think i should quit writing! I even put my one of my ff's in hiatus! So i guess this is it...i really do hope you'll like it...or else i guess i should stop writing!😭😭😭
Prologue:
The weather was too hot. Too hot for Arnav Singh Raizada to tolerate. It's been a year since he met his son , Aryaan. He was to come back from his hostel in US today. He was 11 years old and lived in US with his bua anjali and her husband Arjun. There were a many reasons why arnav had blocked away aryaan from his life. Simran , his first wife , died of a heart attack 6 years ago. He knew that aryaan would need a mother at this age but he was so much in love with simran that he didn't want to get married again. It was simply a stupid thought to him. He had blocked him away, his own son from himself because whenever he would see him, it would remind him of the beautiful moments spent with Simran. So that is why it was decided that Aryaan would stay with his bua till he is grown up to take care of arnav's business.
"Sir, it's been years since you have seen your son and today they are coming back from US. How do you feel?" asked one reporter. "Sir, sir...we heard that you do not want to get married again! Is it true?"another reporter asked. Arnav scowled at them, which immediately made them back away.
"Aman I told you to look after the reporters...why are they here?" arnav gritted his teeth while talking to his assistant. "Sorry sir, I'll be on my way!" aman gasped and went away.
While working on his laptop, he heard a soft knock on his cabin door. "Come in!" he summoned. As the door opened, he saw his sister anjali standing in front of him. She has a beautiful smile on her face and brought some gifts for arnav. "Chotte! How are you, I missed you so much!" anjali cried and hugged her brother. Arnav smiled. "I missed you too di! How are you?" he asked. "I am great! By the way, I saw many reporters outside the office today! Is...is everything okay?" she asked. "Yeah di, everything's fine! It's just some cheap stunt by the media..." he exclaimed. "What cheap stunt?" she asked.
Arnav looked up at her. "Well...I have a colleague named Lavanya...and according to the media's sources, we are dating!" he huffed. "Are you now?!" anjali smirked. "Well...we did have a one night stand or something...but nothing serious. At all!" he firmly said. "You slept with her?" anjali gasped. "What...no...I just...I mean she kissed me! That's it..." he huffed. Why would he sleep with lavanya or anyone...at all?
"Chotte...you really need someone in your life...whom you can love like you loved simran...or else people will think that you're a Casanova!" Anjali sighed. "No di...I don't think about people...they think about me...so really don't care what they think and Simran was the love of my life and I don't want to erase her memories...if I let someone in, those memories will erase...forever!" he sighed. His eyes were filled with tears. "I...I am sorry chotte I shouldn't have brought up that topic!" anjali sighed and looked at her vulnerable brother. "But I still do wish that a girl comes into your life...because you don't know what you're missing." She sighed and looked at him.
USA: NEW JEARSEY: GREYSON'S MANSION:
"I am sorry Kunal but I can't stay with you anymore!" khushi gasped. "But...but why? What happened?" he asked as he saw his wife packing her bags to leave. "I...just don't think that there's anything left between us anymore..." She sighed and walked out of the room. "What do you mean...that...that you don't love me anymore?" he cried. Khushi stood back and looked at him. "No karan...it's just that you're not the same person whom I used to love...you've changed...a lot!" she cried and went out."Khushi...khushi it's been 4 years since we are married...and you're breaking it like this?" he stopped her and cupped her face gently. "I...I need time...to think...to think who we are...who I am...karan...that's why I am going back to India..." she gasped and opened the door. It was raining heavily.
"Khushi Shergill...come back here this instant...it's raining, you'll catch a fever...please sweetheart..." Karan cried. Khushi who was all wet looked at him. "No Karan...i have to go...i can't stay like this! I am sorry!" she gasped and drove towards the airport. Karan fell on his knees. "Khushi I love you...please don't leave me...i need you!" he cried and watched her car disappear into the dense fog created by the rain.
"Flight No. 0129 Royal Jordan ready to take off"
Khushi heard the pilot's announcement. She sighed. Her head was throbbing with all the fights she had with karan in the whole week. She looked at her engagement ring. "I am not running away...I just need time to figure things out..." She gasped. As she looked around, she found an old woman staring at her. "Umm...excuse me ma'am but do you want to say something?" she asked politely. "Yes umm...are you Khushi Shergill, the author of An unkindness of love'?" she asked. Khushi chuckled. "Yes ma'am, I am the author!" she shaked hands with the old woman. "Oh my...i just love your writings...I have a whole collection of them. You are such a brilliant writer..." she gasped. "Thank you ma'am..." khushi smiled and they chatted away.
As they landed in India, the old woman smiled. "At last, I am back to my original land..." She smiled. "You live her ma'am..." Khushi asked curiously. "Yes...yes I do, infact I came here to meet my grandchildren here! One of them is pretty famous here!" she gasped with pride. "Really? What's the name?" khushi asked as she took out her luggage from the plane's cabinet.
