Bua became so diffident that she wants to back off now. How can Khushi relinquish so easily. she has to endeavor her mission to win the competition.

"jab koi cheez ko poore dil se chaho na buaji to poore kayanat or nand kishore usko apko dilane mein sajish karte hai."

(when you wish to achieve something whole heartedly, the whole world tries to give it to you.)

Arnav is smiling mischievously at her conceited filmy dialogue. When he leaves out of her sight Khushi again starts to invigorate bua, that she should take a deep breath and remember nandkishore name. Since today her nandkishore never lost any game, so how can her biggest devotee can lose. She thinks the Raizada family will not let her win, but her god will make her win. She has to keep her spirit high to win.

Pause: it's apparently true what Khushi said. Mami sure tried to make them lose.

By this time the announcement for the jugalbandi (duet) is already made. Khushi gets more desperate to encourage bua. The Gupta ladies all together avow,

"sarforoshi ki tamanna ab humari dil mei hai. (the desire for a revolution is in our heart.)

Chin up, Khushi holds bua's hand and leads her to the stage. On the way bua intentionally pushes mami with her hip. Mami who was bragging to a guest of her fifty lakhs jewelry set stumbles at her bang. Bua is twirling her plait and screaming,

"dekhlo hai jor kitna, thumka ye mahime hai."

(Look how much strength is in my dance moves)

Bua is the perfect aunt of Khushi. Both are nautanki.😆

Amma and Payal apologize to mami. But mami as usual replies them with insolence. She is enraged to see bua's volition.

"jor, ya ki power, woh to bohot hai Madhumatiji. Hum tumka aise current laga debe ki zindegi bhar yaad rakhogi, hello hi bye bye."

(strength, I mean power, how much you may have Madhumatiji, I'll give you such shock that you will remember for your whole life, hello hi bye bye)

She sure concocted something..

The rascal Shyam is still fumbling everywhere like crazy for the scorpion..😡

When Khushi was instructing the workers to set the stage Akash comes there to ask her, is everything alright? But it seems like Khushi can't think anything else beside her laad Governor. 😃She says with a big grin in her face,

"theek to hum woh laad governor ko karegi, unhe harake."

(I'll make the laad Governor alright by defeating him)

pause: don't worry Khushi, LG is already lost his heart to you.😃 Khushi controls herself immediately and begs sorry to Akash, after all LG is his brother. Akash asks her why she is so scared of him. Khushi retorts back immediately that she is not scared of him at all. Akash leaves after saying her that he is happy to know that. Khushi again says in volition that she is not sacred of him and moreover she thinks since she has talked about the competition he has been fearing.

Someone responds "hmm" at her comment. She continues, this is the reason, he didn't want the sangeet to happen. He knew that if sangeet would happen, then there will be a competition, and of course he will lose. That's why he was scared and now still is afraid. Someone again says "hmm" at her blabber. She starts perking up again that he challenged her out of fright. He didn't know that the challenge would be heavy on him and he started to perspire at her reply.

"Unki shakal dekhne layek thi jeejaji." (his visage was worth to watch)

After completing her monologue she looks at Akash who was actually standing far from her. While she waved hand to him and showed him thumbs up, she realizes that he is actually standing far from her, then who was responding at her comments!. She turns slowly and finds Arnav is standing beside her. She becomes tremulous in fear, slowly lowers down her hands and clutches her skirt in anticipation. Arnav banters, that there is somebody else is cowering and quivering as well. When she realized that she can't show her weakness to him, she unclasps her hand, and strides away glaring at him with darting eyes.

"Raizada house ma sharab band he, humbhi manorama hai, manoroma, smuggliaike laye hai. Madhumatiji ko disco danace karne ka bohot hi suakh hai na, aur uske dance mai, koi aur hi rang a jayegi, Ye madhu peene ke baad.

(alcohol is band in Raizada house. But I'm Maoroma, smuggled it. Madhumatiji is very eager to do disco dance, now after drinking this honey, more color will come to her dance.)

Mami mixes alcohol in the juice to inebriate bua. She takes the smell of the juice to check if the dose of alcohol is too strong or not. When she got the strong smell, she intends to open a sweet box to remove the strong smell from her nose. She feels that the box seems lighter. When she is about to open it, shyam snatches the box from her hand. After rummaging for a while finally the devil found his killer friend! Mami gets ambiguous whether Shyam saw her to fabricate the juice or not. She is stammering that she actually was drinking the juice. Mami also asks him what he is doing in the kitchen. Sly shyam always has the extempore answer. He tells her that he came to call her as her friends are looking for her. Mami tells him that she came to eat sweet as the juice tasted bitter. Clever Shyam tells HP to feed mami sweets.

Shyam and mami both prevaricated the truth from each other. Mami's malevolence for Guptas is fathomable, but Shyam's malignant intention to kill an innocuous soul is completely unfathomable. I wish if I could kill him before he does any more mayhem to anybody.😡

When mami leaves shyam checks the scorpion inside the sweet box and mutters his frustration that he had to face so many difficulties to commit such a small thing. He bends down to get something from under the table

Pause: to murder somebody is a small thing for Shyam! How atrocious a person can be!

"what are you searching for?"

Anjali is flummoxed

Shyam bangs his head with the table when he tries to stand up. Anjali starts panicking to see him get hurt. Shyam refutes that he is fine. But Anjali is obdurate, she drags him with her for dressing his wound. Shyam again had to leave the box in the kitchen.

Pause: sigh, wife got so tensed and upset to see her husband's minor wound and husband is leaving no stone unturned to kill such a loving wife. How surreal!

Mami is looking for her rival Madhumati. She needs to inebriate her before the performance.

NK is telling bua and amma that he can help Akash on the wedding day. Cause he has "kharbooja" he meant experience. bua mends him "tajurba'

NK starts to tell about his friend's wedding story. But he can't continue as mami interrupts him. She got joowice for everybody. Nk thinks to demonstrate the story with the juice glasses. She takes the tray of the glasses from mami's hand and puts it down on the table. To illustrate the story, NK literally mixes up all the glasses. Mami starts to panic, how she will identify the intoxicated juice now!😆

Anjali and shyam are back on the stage to make an announcement of the duet of bua and mami. Mami gets more precarious now, how she can make bua drink the intoxicated juice!

Nk drinks one glass and mami sees he is fine. Amma drinks the next glass. Mami contemplates her carefully and she is also fine. Now two glasses are left, one for her and one for bua. Bua picks one glass and give the other to mami. Mami is cowering in anticipation. When Bua sees that mami is not drinking she tells her not to feel shy and drink it as she is in her own home. Cum on bua it's her home. It seems like bua already became bonkers before imbibe the alcohol. Bua is coercing mami like a little kid to drink her juice. But mami is waiting to see bua's reaction first. Bua seems loved the alcohol mixed juice very much; she was nodding her head in contentment.😆

It's time to know how much points nani gets. The judges give her 7 points and Guptas not yet gained any point.

Mami and bua are ready on the stage for their performance. Khushi inspires bua by screaming "yulgar ho." She is frolicking and starts to dance from her place to give bua more encouragement. When she saw Arnav is looking at her, she controls her excitement. But after a while bua seems wilting. Khushi keeps showing her the dance moves. But when bua completely gave up Khushi's happiness evanesces, she becomes sullen. The mean boy is smiling derisively to see their condition.

Finally when the dance is over bua is watching now three nandkissore in front of her eyes. Oh Gosh, so bua got a crush on NK!😲

Anjali is still worried for her rogue husband. She doesn't want to leave him alone. After the devil's insist she agrees to go back to the program.

Bua joins her family member, still she is tilting. Khushi gets upset! She taught her so many things, but she forgot everything. Bua on the other hand became so maudlin that starts to speak incoherent talk. She appreciates Khushi's dance. Khushi is now incredulous, what happened to bua. Nk also joins the Gupta ladies. It seems like NK is Gupta's ally. 😆 bua becomes more frivolous to see NK.

"nand kissore, bohot natkhat ho."

(nandkissore, you are so naughty)

The Gupta ladies are getting precarious to see bua's delirium.

Bua squeezes NK's cheek and asks him in a drunken tone,

"shadi ke bare mei kya khayal hai."

(what did you think of your marriage)

Nk recollects his nightmare where he is marrying bua. He gets eerie and screams, "nahi" bua, who is now seeing three NK says confusedly that why three nandkissores are denying for marriage! Khushi's suspicion pulsates more

" three nandkishore!"

All the Raizadas are praising mami's dance performance. Mami is feeling proud as well.

After bua and mami's performance the raizada family's score now is 14 and Gupta family's score is 4. khushi has become despondent, she is consternating, recollecting Arnav's challenge; what he will make her to do if they lose! Where Arnav is smiling at her mischievously, already exulting his triumph.

I'm no expert... but am a huge fan of dance. The Tango, i'm captivated by.. it all started with a movie by the same name that i saw about a decade ago by Carlos Saura...you may have seen it...and then later because of the german choreographer pina bausch who did an interesting take on tango, her own unique version. Pina...i'm a devotee of her work.

Anyway, back to tango being both dance and metaphor, it's widely believed in latin america that tango does what mortals can't...seek all the emotional richness possible in a relationship..and reach the depths of love and longing in otherwise introverted and uncertain souls. It's the dance of intimacy between man and woman, which of course we instantly figure cos it's so physical' but what is most extraordinary about it is that it's not pre-planned or choreographed! Teri Meri hee toh hua na!! You do not know in advance what music you'll dance to [True for Him!] and who your partner will be [True for Her!]. It's spontaneous, co-created in the moment, and all about the gaze and the embrace... both partners need to be aware of the other's body {They so are!] and the way they move...and be able to take some risks with that... Of course, one person has to take the lead [ahem ahem.. we know who that is!] and make the other feel like they're the most beautiful dancer ever!😊 Like a couple wanting to communicate flawlessly in real life, I guess! (In fact, psychoanalysis in argentina is frequently likened to tango since both need a free flowing relationship between two people).

As for dance and psychology in general...themes like submission-surrender-separation-sadness..also emotions such as vulnerability, strength, power...these are BIG in writings and studies on the subject. Why look elsewhere, Indian dances are layered with meaning and subtext. My personal favorites are Kuchipudi and Mohiniyattam! Kuchipudi, for instance, is traditionally meant to be devotional in nature, an expression of desire to become one with god. But in it's form, it is racy and sprightly, the moves are bold and the turns are vigorous. It feels in essence a sensuous and earthy expression of pining lovers. The stage lighting, color of costumes, music, all designed to suit the particular shade of love the dancer/s inhabit/s in a piece...
