Anjali "Evil" Jha
Anjali Jha stood on the top of the stairs and looked at her brother with disdain. He was such a fool! Her gaze shifted to Khushi, an evil glint in her eyes. Both were naive idiots! One refused to see the truth and other could be easily manipulated... She smirked. The trap was perfectly laid and it was only a matter of time before she would have then wrapped around her finger. Smirking, she headed to her room.
Anjali nee Mallik Raizada Jha had seen a tough time in the last fourteen years. She had lost her parents on the same day as her wedding broke... It wasn't just her brother who had hardened; she had too. The only difference was she had hardened herself on the inside and remained soft on the outside and Arnav had hardened himself from outside and was still soft from the inside. Fact was that Arnav always had a soft corner.
She had been a master planner and had orchestrated everything perfectly well. It was only a matter of time before things would go her way...
She walked back to her bedroom and lay on the bed with a satisfied smile on her face.
Arnav had been a tough nut to crack but now, she knew where exactly his weakness was. She smirked thinking of Khushi...
She knew just how to get Arnav to bend to her will...

"Khushi bitiya, Anjali bitiya has found a perfect rishta for you..." Nani told Khushi lovingly, but deep inside she was scared; why was Anjali doing this? She could see the shock in Khushi's eyes... Anjali knew they loved each other and now, instead of driving them closer she was making sure that they drifted apart.
If Chhote found out, he would act indifferent and his indifference would break Khushi bitiya's heart...!
"Ji Naniji I will tell Amma..."
Anjali had asked Nani to convey her message to Khushi and had turned a deaf ear to Nani's questions... From the corner of her eye, Devyani had seen Chhote walking towards them.
"What Chhote?" Nani asked.
"Whose rishta Nani?"
Khushi let out a strangled whisper as she looked him in the eye. "Mine.."
Arnav froze. Their eye-lock hadn't broken yet and Arnav could see hope in her eyes. Arnav closed his eyes; NO! He didn't care!
So he simply said "Well, good. Congrats!" and walked away, missing the shocked gasp from Khushi.
Nani excused herself and decided to talk to Anjali and headed to her room.

Anjali smiled with satisfaction at what Nani told her. It was going perfectly! It was only a matter of time before Khushi would get married off!
She smirked as Nani walked out. She made a mental note to apologise to Nani later and explain why she had done it all. She was sure Nani would forgive her and understand her point of view.
Meanwhile-
Arnav paced up and down the poolside. "Chhote?"
"Di?"
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah Di. I'm perfectly fine!"
"Good. Well, Khushiji is getting married too. So nice... After one broken rishta. She deserves happiness..."
"Di, why are you telling me this?" he said, not noticing the glint in her eyes.
"Arey just like that Chhote! Anyways, I am going to talk to Garima Aunty and Buaji."
And Anjali left, feeling proud for having fixed up two people.

He froze when he heard the tinkling of HER anklets. He turned to see Khushi walk into his room and set a pile of clothes on his bed and began walking out.
Within moments, Arnav had closed the door, preventing her from leaving. Her eyes looked up into his intense ones, shock evident in them.
"What are you doing!"
"So is the guy rich?"
"Huh?"
"The rishta Di got for you? He must be rich hai na?"
"What are you-"
Arnav pinned her to the wall. "Well, look at you acting all innocent! Rich guys is all you middle class dream about hai na!" he said it out.
Khushi pursed her lips. "Mr Raizada, just because you speak the language of money and it is all that matters to you, it doesn't mean all of us have the same thought!"
"Oh really?"
She pushed him away and rubbed her arms. "Yes. I just want someone who will love me for me and that is not easy in today's world."
She stepped out of the room but stopped in hued tracks when she heard him. "What if that someone who loves you is a monster who has hurt you a lot in the past..."
She turned around and said softly "Nothing matters as long as he loves me..."
Arnav walked up to her and pulled her into the room and kissed her lips, as she gasped in shock. Soon they broke apart after a passionate kiss. Khushi was red and little angry. Before she could say a word, Arnav said "Now that I have your assurance, it is safe to admit I suppose..."
"What?" she asked confused.
He put her forehead against hers and said "I love you Khushi..."
Khushi smiled thru tears and snaked her arms around his neck. Theur hug was interrupted by the opening of the door and Anjali stormed inside. She froze seeing the two of them and walked out with a shocked look on her face.
She walked quickly to her room and sat down with a sigh. Her eyes lit up with victory. Anjali Jha had made it a goal in her life to get her brother (who was not even an novice in the matter of heart! ) married.
After careful planning she had succeeded! In a few moments she was sure that a wedding would be announced!
