Episode 54

Ideas to beat the odds in this game are getting new angles and turns.Some how most of these are in the favor of everyone and no one is getting any serious terms even one ROOK is playing dirty but all the pawns are becoming helping hand to others which will turn soon two ROOKS face to face without their knowledge.👏

The epi starts with the entrance of Nani in Arnav's room looking for Lakshmi .Naniji's intended way of ignoring La and Arnav was gratifying. While picking up Lakshami ,...She said, there you are, you have a habit of going places where you have no business at all...and she gives them an angle look, adumbrating about La's presence in the room...as she saw her coming deliberately in his room.She is aware of her intentions and her moves'.

Pause here:Arnav does stop La for hitting on him firmly.Good point'.He was in Khushi's thoughts when she held him and he was not ready at all...

Arnav sensed Nani's reasons being there and gave a slight look to La as he is saying "You just can't mind your business'" .La is befuddled and a bit scared .Nani was about to leave while reminding La the location of her room. Nani,"Lagta hai aap rasta bhatak gaye hain"[ I think you are going on a wrong path']She addressed Arnav that sleeping late is bad for health while brushing off La's reasons to be there. ... Nani's Priksha [test] #2 '"Be present on Aarti early in the morning and don't forget to take shower.Nani spoke million words in one LOOK to Arnav '.No wonder why Arnav is so skillful in this language'after all its "Khandani.."[family trait]

Arnav's restlessness is written all over.Khushi has indeed increased his anxiety over her.He is confused soul who has no idea where to reside.He knows his decision about La is not good but this is the only way out for him now...

Mamiji overheard Sasu ma's plan and made a commitment to herself that she will do whatever it takes to wake her up on time...Mami ji got disturbed as in her sleep she kept saying she has to wake up early to wake up La...mama ji warned her not to mess with the situation but guys her self care system of her face is way too much 'either its day or night'

Shyam is getting scanty ,skimpy ,and shabby day by day'..He gets hyped when Khushi tells him She was about to leave Lukhnow 'pause.. but didn't.That pause made him assume that HE is the shining star of her dreamy sky.

Symbolism:After Mithai [sweets] shop means safety, good fortune and 'sweeten' the new year.Khushi will be safe from Shyam and will have good fortune but with lots of pain.Khushi's uncanny look showers her 6^th sense a 90 degrees angle about Shyamji as he is talking about his "Dhak Dhak" codes in 30 degrees angle.I can't digest too much Shyampoori in one epi'

Shyam's slyness and Anjali's sweetness hurts me way too much sometimes.I wonder which antenna was angling towards her sending her the right kind of signals about that "ONE" phone call which transformed her Chihuahua into German shepherd.Pause here:

She surely sensed something but again "ALL is well"...

Buaji declares "subha ka khana,dupher ka khana,sham ka khana'.mathai khana"..[breakfast,lunch,and dinner just eat sweets'] when Khushi mentions about old sweets.She wants to make new ones but Buaji glares at her "money does not grow at tree"'

Khushi is a one smart cookie though .She thinks and acts upon accordingly.She is a nutcracker as a child and sapient keen as a woman'

If he is homogenous mixture of Arnav and ASR so she is heterogeneously a Sanka Devi, Titliya, Bitya, aafat ki puriya, paagal, nautanki''[you can add all the names of her in IPK] She is always a contemplative in the time of need and that's why she is Khushi.She is thinking as a businesslike person as she is following her Babuji's ways.Good thinking though climbing 2stars to 5 stars'.Khushi and her big dreams'.

Aarti on time, Nani on time, Mami on time,family on time ,'.All the "I" s on time ,the only and the one not on time is "Latyme" 'Naniji is really determined in her Priksha's mode.She wants to give her chance to prove the family her righteous decision about La that she is not "Bahu material"'..

Mamiji and Bhag Lakshmi '.tried her best to bring La in Mandir but Naniji overheard her convo with La about coming to Mandir without Shower.That escalates the anger in her '.

he didn't say a word this episode. yet, his eyes, his turn of head, his walk, his stance, everything spoke and said so many things. the most important of all that he was disturbed. very very disturbed. i can try and guess only at the things that were bothering him.

there was that constant thinking about a girl he really didn't wish to think of. at least his dimag forbade it. there's no point... the girl is gone, plus girls don't make a difference to you... grow up, stop this... perhaps it admonished. yet something in him refused to listen. much later in a lovely conversation that would travel via stars, he will say how much he tried not to let her matter, but alas his own heart didn't listen to him. and now, so poignantly ever since he's seen that locked door, we're watching the waywardness of his dil.

ASR'S MIND IS BAFFLED ABOUT THIS WHOLE FIASCO OVER A GAL WHO DOES NOT CARE AND GIVE A DAMN ABOUT HIM ACC TO HIM BUT STILL CAN'T LET GO HER LONGING AND HIS YEARNING TO FEEL HER SEE HER IS SO EVIDENT


while it might thrill me no end to see him thinking of her, he is really suffering because of it. end of 53, his sleep was gone, and he was most unlike himself as he gently stepped up into the night, held a billowing curtain and slipped into a reverie, almost forgetting to be angry. this is unusual to say the least, it is hard on the personality he has carefully groomed to face life. that childhood tragedy would have broken him otherwise.
HE DOES NOT FEEL TO BE ANGRY FOR SOME REASONS .SO NOT A TRAIT OF ASR BUT HE IS CRUMBLING INFRONT OF KKG .THAT GAL HAS COMPLETELY ACESS TO ARNAV.
he needs to believe in what he says, "arnav singh raizada ko kissi ladki se koi faraq nahin padta." and this has gone way beyond faraq, it's gone to places in his heart, invading his day, his night.

faraq apart, there's a deeper issue at stake here. his take on sahi aur galat. around which is structured his conscience. and that is sacrosanct to his well being. when the unthinkable happened, both brother and sister struggled to find ways to survive. anjali saw a mainstay in her brother, she transferred many emotional and psychological needs that parents fulfill to her younger sibling. he became central to her very existence. he in turn brought all his emotions to her and gave it unstintingly, being a young boy then a younger brother before her eyes only... but what he lived by was not this love.

my belief, stung by his father's betrayal, and hastening to distance himself clearly and completely from such a man, he developed a strong sense of right and wrong, a moral code, around which grew his conscience. he lived by this. any dent in it, the slightest scratch, and he couldn't bear it. YEAP LOVED THOSE DIALOGUES REGARDLESS THE DENTS IN THIS STORY.


for him to feel he was ok, he had to be sure he wasn't galat. "main sahi hoon," he said that night in the rain, when his conscience pricked him, he laid his head back against his suv just as he did here, worried, tremulous, needing desperately to know he was not wrong. he waned to be nothing like his father. he perhaps feared that he might have some streak of his parent in him, who knows. which is why, there was no place for love in his life, for he'd seen how this could destroy. which is why also perhaps his level of comfort with the limits of the relationship with lavanya.

THAT FEAR MADE HIM REALLY GOOD MAN THOUGH REGARDLESS OF THE ANGER ISSUES

then that got complicated.

admitted it was his stubbornness which was responsible to some extent for the situation, but he still is unprepared for the repercussions. when la sneaks into his room, firstly he's too wrapped in a girl's dupatta, unable to extricate himself from the memories of their meetings; then la wants to get all cosy behind the family's back. unthinkable, in his eyes. asr is not sneaky. he has accepted his nani's decision they won't share rooms. la is welcome to come to his room before all, in broad daylight, but not like this. a sense of galat in it. and asr cannot have that.

HE IS A MAN OF PRINCIPLES

just as he's trying to somehow handle this, in walks nani, and the arch conversation follows, addressed to lakshmiji but aimed straight at la. that too is disturbing. he is finding his nani's handling of the situation not what he expected it to be. he has seen her cope with tragedy magnificently. he has received her love and care when he most needed it. he knows what a strong and principled woman she is. he battled with her on a matter of principle, and maybe he thought she was resolved enough to know exactly how to manage this new situation.

but no. nani is upset. and while he may not agree with her, he really doesn't want to see her like this.

then there's his duty to la. what's he to do about that? not that la's attitude is helping, why come here now?

the poor man is not in a good place at all.
HE IS CONFUSED BUT RIGHTEOUS AT SOME POINTS

that is all that registered this episode with me. it was interesting to see, how barun sobti with just a couple of expressions and a few minutes, could convey so much. the look on his face as he heard his grandma's comments, then later the little conversation between her and la. the unhappy perusal and slow walk up to the door toward nani; maybe he wants to say something, tell her off again, i thought. he merely looked at her and without a word shut the door. brilliant. my heart skipped a beat and i swear i felt his worry, his disturbance, his extreme vulnerability.

she turned away with an air of purpose. when he turned around, a tiredness on his face, a pulled down air about him, a quandary that's sucking him in. so so so not asr. i was sad.

IT WAS NANI WHO LOVES ARNAV AS HER FAV LITTLE STUBBORN GRANDKID


the rest of the episode took the story forward, a rather forced yarn around the sacrilege of not bathing before puja was spun. a bit too much of "acting" everywhere. khushi is back and now shyam knows thaitt and is up to his usual galat deeds... disgusting, what's new. mami, even more campy than usual, tried to lighten the day, lavanya attempted to give her company. but all i saw was a man leaning against a door, eyes closed.

i realise, it has to all get pretty serious for di to plan khushi's return. and i do accept that family dramas often unfold around the silliest of things, and so won't crib about the bath story. of course, there's more to come. but what makes it imperative for khushi to return to asr's life is that scene in my head. he needs her... so i want her back. love, huh? 😆

"Surely they will be safe from being diabetic from extra dose of sugar known as Shyam by the grace of DM.😆 " - Agreed 😆

episode 56!!!

the episode starts off with arnav going to nani to talk to her (at first i thought it was about lavanya ...i was like gasp arnav was actually listening to la...but i was wrong). Arnav said that tomorrow is Di and jija ji's anniversary so...before he could finish nani said that they will not ruin anji's day and we will forget our differences for a day (in short). Arnav smiled a bit...i think he was thinking that he got his old nani back before all this fighting began

At the gupta house shyam asked khushi that she should rethink going back to lucknow and think about her parents...and she said that is what i thought going there but then devi maiya had other plans ( person can not go against a sign from god!!) shyam then said it will be harder for me to meet you then...khushi is like what...shyam clarified saying that he goes to lucknow alot so it would be nice to meet people he knows. khushi smiles and goes back to making jalebis...and shyam said he has to come up with way to meet khushi then (he said this in his mind)...bua ji comes in and said if you do go to lucknow you should meet her parents...and quietly said to bring the relationship forward...shyam smiles...and bua ji looks at them thinking how perfect they are...shyam leaves because he has to work...and khushi is like you just came...bua ji is happy and said look how much she remembers you...shyam gets happy...

at the RM arnav is planning the anniversary party and la asked if she can help...arnav said he does it himself every year...and he hopes his sister likes it. La asked why are they ordering sweets from a small place and arnav said anjam likes lucknow sweets...la also said she planned a surprise and arnav said i hope you thought it through and not make the family mad...he stopped in the proccess of saying that and corrected himself saying you know my family...lavanya was like nothing will go wrong and she knows his family (obviously something will go wrong)

Khushi is counting the sweets and bua ji keeps asking if she finished it all but she is cut off by khushi each time...payal said they finished and khushi gets happy...at the store...the manager likes the sweets and said to go to shantivan because it is a big raizada party...khushi gets shocked and said she will not do it...and the manager threatened her saying she will not get any business from any hotel...khushi walks away and payal talks some sense into her and not to break the sign devi maiya gave her...khushi agrees to go just to drop off the sweet but the manager is like Heck No you have to stay throughout the party...payal said let's go to the mandir and the tikka will calm your mind.

Shyam is preparing his surprise for anjali...Anjali comes out of the shower and does her prayer and spins around and starts to walk and her feethits the rose petals (i really liked her hair like that) and shyam wishes her a happy anniversary...and gives her a gift...it is a sari similar to what khushi wore for teej...shyam drapes it on her head and he immediately saw khushi...he cups her face and hugs her and said you never looked so beautful..anjali was like wow you never complimented me like that before and shyam's trance is broken (the scene made me want to puke🤢)

The whole Raizadas are in the living room wishing the couple...shyam was like you owe me badam kheer, and nani ji is like i am old but not that old to forget...she calls jp to bring it but lavanya brings it...and nani seemed happy for a second...and then laxmi came...and la trying to avoid her tripped and dropped the kheer...nani gets mad and said how she worked hard on making that...arnav was about to say something but shyam cuts in and said she did a good and next year you should make me double the amount...anjali said la was trying to help and nani forgave la this because of anjali...la and nani walks off and said to mama ji how la and nani have bad timing...and mama ji is like what about you (this man had the best lines to bad he just vanished).

Arnav is talking to someone on the phone saying there is not a enough time and khushi enters the house...arnav's khushi radar goes off and khushi's arnav radar goes off as well...arnav said she is not hear she can't be...i must not think about her...and khushi is like i hope arnav is not hear...i want to get this over with...and the epsiode ends

Episode 56

We're Having a Party!

It's evening andASR is in the mandir with Nani. He wants to make sure that they can bury the hatchet so that they can all enjoy the celebration of Di's wedding anniversary. Nani agrees saying she is the elder in the house and knows her responsibilities and she does not want Anjali upset. So they both sign a treaty for the sake of Anjali. Everyone will be happy; We're Having a Party!

GH Everyone is preparing sweets in the kitchen it's like they're having a party! Shyam says to Kushi he thinks she should consider moving back to Lucknow because she can help support her parents and he goes there quite a lot for work and will know someone there. Kushi says no DM gave her a sign and she was to stay in Delhi. "I will not go anywhere!" "Really, he mumbles, and then it will be difficult to meet you. I mean, I would know someone if you were in Lucknow" Shyam is very shrewd he thinks he can have two women, one living in Delhi for monetary gain and the other in Lucknow for obsessive lust that he thinks is love. Buaji suggest he stay with Kushi parents that will pave the road for him. He says he must go; Buaji misses him already. He thinks he will find an excuse to come again. He has a party to go to.

La barges into his room. "ASR this is not fair you don't let me help you with anything! ": he tells her that he has organized this party every year and doesn't trust anyone else to do so. ASR doesn't trust anyone else. Huge statement! Come dear boy, open your mind there is someone who has been sent from the heavens for you to trust your heart with her name is Kushi Kumari Gupta! Lavanya says it's okay and that she has a surprise planned. Oh dear, even ASR looks worried. He tells her that he hopes she has thought about it..he means she should know how people are in the house, right? She answers she knows what she could do and can not do. She asks him why he orders sweets from small shops and he says that is what he has done previous times and his sister and brother in law like the sweets of small Lucknow shops. He hopes they are just as good as before because We're Having a Party!

The GH is full of abundance of homemade sweets. Aaah, how delicious the aroma! Kushi and Payal are counting the boxes and Buaji says she'll get diabetes just looking at the boxes of so many sweets! "35 boxes the order is complete! All will be well! No need to worry the Goddess is with us now and always! They will love the sweets and everyone will praise us!" Kushi exclaims! Let the party begin!

RM Mami sees Shyam carrying in flowers and she says she needs to start getting ready. He says now, isn't the party tonight and she says it takes her hours to get done. Hello hi bye bye!

Kushi and Payal are with the manager and his assistant for a tasting of their sweets; they heartily approve. He gives her the address and the nam of the house is Shantivan the home of the Raizada family. Kushi nearly faints!!! She is shocked, oh no, Devi Maiya what are you doing?

RM- Anjali is praying as she got out of bed, thankful for her special day. She takes a step onto a bed of rose petals strewn all over the floor like a carpet. What a beautiful gift, my husband never did that for me and he loves me! She looks up and there standing before her is her snake, oh I am sorry, her husband Shyam. Smiling innocently and angelically, he actually looks like he loves her in this scene. She says to hime evry year you fill my room with flowers and he says and every year you are surprised. I do this to see you smile and may your life flourish like a flower. They hug. She sees the package in his hands which he jokes with her that it is nothing but then pulls out a beautiful drape. He places it on her head and says she looks beautiful as he is imagining Kushi standing in front of him. She says he has never said that to her. I wonder why, poor woman he is betraying you. He hugs her tightly. They then go for some work they are having a party!

Kushi tells the manager there is no way she can go there and he says we have an agreement. The manager says if you don't go there then there will no longer be any contracts in the future. Payal says to Kushi think about it, Aunt has pawned her bracelets and we need to pay the mortgage on the store. Payal says think carefully Kushi. Why do you think you shouldn't go there? Just think we are going to end the obligation of the contract. Kushi says but the demon. Payal sternly says, first stop thinking about it. We have more important work than to meet ASR and DM gave you the sign to come back right?

ASR is on the phone doing his last checks and he doesn't want anything compromised. Get it? The whole family is there and Nani has specially made kheer for Shyam . Lavanya carries the tray with the pudding and ofcourse Laxmi comes and as she is shooing her the tray tips and the pudding falls on the floor. I think Nani was about to explode! ASR's phone slowly comes down from his ear. OH NO!

Payal says to Kushi that the Goddess gave you a sign and you decided to stay, the bracelets have been pawned and the mortgage on the store must be paid. She decides to go because the manager said she must make the presentation of the dessert from Lucknow. Paya says Kushi we have time let's go to the mandir, you will feel better. Kushi prays for the Goddess to protect them.

Nani is upset with Lavanya and scolding her vehemently. ASR looks like he is going to the rescue her when Shyam steps in front of him. He says Nani should be happy and that it is not a big loss, you should thank Lavanya and you will not get away so easily anyway next year you will have to make double! She only tried to help and she '.should ask forgiveness, ASR chimes in. "Sorry, Naniji." All right she says she will forgive her only because of her son in law request. 'Today is a special day and it would be good if you behaved well in front of the guests and be careful not to do anything that shames us.' Lavanya agrees and leaves.

Kushi and Payal are at the front door of Shantivan. Devi Maiya help us and protect us, she prays.

She opens the door and walks inside.

He is on the phone. The phone slowly drops off his ear again. He feels her. He looks up sensing her presence, her essence.

Rabba Ve'

She feels it too. "Devi Maiya protect us. I hope the Laad Govenor is not home."

"No, she is not here. I don't want to think about it."

We're Having a Party! Let's go see what happens, shall we?

the episode starts off with arnav going to nani to talk to her (at first i thought it was about lavanya ...i was like gasp arnav was actually listening to la...but i was wrong). Arnav said that tomorrow is Di and jija ji's anniversary so...before he could finish nani said that they will not ruin anji's day and we will forget our differences for a day (in short). Arnav smiled a bit...i think he was thinking that he got his old nani back before all this fighting began

At the gupta house shyam asked khushi that she should rethink going back to lucknow and think about her parents...and she said that is what i thought going there but then devi maiya had other plans ( person can not go against a sign from god!!) shyam then said it will be harder for me to meet you then...khushi is like what...shyam clarified saying that he goes to lucknow alot so it would be nice to meet people he knows. khushi smiles and goes back to making jalebis...and shyam said he has to come up with way to meet khushi then (he said this in his mind)...bua ji comes in and said if you do go to lucknow you should meet her parents...and quietly said to bring the relationship forward...shyam smiles...and bua ji looks at them thinking how perfect they are...shyam leaves because he has to work...and khushi is like you just came...bua ji is happy and said look how much she remembers you...shyam gets happy...

at the RM arnav is planning the anniversary party and la asked if she can help...arnav said he does it himself every year...and he hopes his sister likes it. La asked why are they ordering sweets from a small place and arnav said anjam likes lucknow sweets...la also said she planned a surprise and arnav said i hope you thought it through and not make the family mad...he stopped in the proccess of saying that and corrected himself saying you know my family...lavanya was like nothing will go wrong and she knows his family (obviously something will go wrong)

Khushi is counting the sweets and bua ji keeps asking if she finished it all but she is cut off by khushi each time...payal said they finished and khushi gets happy...at the store...the manager likes the sweets and said to go to shantivan because it is a big raizada party...khushi gets shocked and said she will not do it...and the manager threatened her saying she will not get any business from any hotel...khushi walks away and payal talks some sense into her and not to break the sign devi maiya gave her...khushi agrees to go just to drop off the sweet but the manager is like Heck No you have to stay throughout the party...payal said let's go to the mandir and the tikka will calm your mind.

Shyam is preparing his surprise for anjali...Anjali comes out of the shower and does her prayer and spins around and starts to walk and her feethits the rose petals (i really liked her hair like that) and shyam wishes her a happy anniversary...and gives her a gift...it is a sari similar to what khushi wore for teej...shyam drapes it on her head and he immediately saw khushi...he cups her face and hugs her and said you never looked so beautful..anjali was like wow you never complimented me like that before and shyam's trance is broken (the scene made me want to puke🤢)

The whole Raizadas are in the living room wishing the couple...shyam was like you owe me badam kheer, and nani ji is like i am old but not that old to forget...she calls jp to bring it but lavanya brings it...and nani seemed happy for a second...and then laxmi came...and la trying to avoid her tripped and dropped the kheer...nani gets mad and said how she worked hard on making that...arnav was about to say something but shyam cuts in and said she did a good and next year you should make me double the amount...anjali said la was trying to help and nani forgave la this because of anjali...la and nani walks off and said to mama ji how la and nani have bad timing...and mama ji is like what about you (this man had the best lines to bad he just vanished).

Arnav is talking to someone on the phone saying there is not a enough time and khushi enters the house...arnav's khushi radar goes off and khushi's arnav radar goes off as well...arnav said she is not hear she can't be...i must not think about her...and khushi is like i hope arnav is not hear...i want to get this over with...and the epsiode ends
