OS | You Lied To Me!

"How could you Arnavji! You lied to me! Why?!" Khushi screamed, one finger pointing accusingly at Arnav, and her right hand holding her pregnant belly.
"Khushi, I did not lie to you! She was crying, so I-" Arnav tried to explain.
"YOU told me, you had important work and when I get back home, what do I find? You were in the bathroom with Priya!" Khushi cried, pointing to a figure standing in a corner, looking down at something on the floor.
LORD SAVE ME! Arnav thought.

*FLASHBACK*

"Uff! Sitting at home is so tiring! Why can't any of these people understand that I am pregnant and not SICK!" Khushi complained to Priya, who patted her hand. Sighing, Khushi turned to Anjali. "Di, I want to go out. Please?"
Anjali looked at Khushi and smiled. "Okay. I will send Chhote with you..." She turned to Arnav, who was staring at Priya.
Arnav looke up, and said, "Di, I have some important work and-"
"Thats okay Arnavji. I will just stroll outside the building." Khushi assured him.
She got up with Anjali's help, and walked out of the house, breathing in the fresh air. After a round or two, she got tired and walked back into the house to find both Arnav and Priya, missing.
Khushi huffed and made her way upstairs. To her surprise, she found their bedroom empty, and thats when she heard sounds from the bathroom. Curious, she walked to the bathroom and opened it, stunned to see what she did;
Arnav was standing one leg in the tub and the other out kissing Priya who was in his arms, half wet while Priya was smiling at Arnav from his arms, without any clothes on.
Arnav froze when he heard Khushi's cold voice. "THIS was the important work you had?!"

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

"If you did not want to come with me, you could have just told me! Why did you lie to me!" Khushi asked.
"Khushi, I was not lying! Priya was grumpy and sad, so I-"
"So you decided to give her BATH?" She asked sarcastically. Then her eyes widened. "HAW! What if she'd caught a cold?!"
Oh no! The crazy pregnancy hormones would start kicking in now! Arnav thought with dread.
"Arnavji, you are so careless and irresponsible!" Khushi shrieked, she was about to add something more, when a loud wail cut her off.
Both Arnav and Khushi turned to see Priya crying. Khushi rushed to Priya. "Its okay baby, Mamma is here!" She threw an its-not-over look to Arnav and walked out of the room, patting baby Priya's back.
Arnav heaved a sigh of relief. He was off the hook...he knew Khushi would be too tired to scold him...
He, for the first time in the last few, months, he thanked those crazy hormones...
