It is not only that we are fighting for the actor and his place in the show. For me Barun is Aranav and vice versa. ( so is Sanaya as Khushi ). barun ones this character.

BAS I WANT HIM TO PLAY THIS ROLE ANDNO ONEELSE CAN REPLACE HIM.

ASR is Barun and Barun is ASR👍🏼 No second thoughts on that ever!

Who can forget those eyes which exude determination, angst, passion, arrogance, attitude, melancholy and at the same time can be a pool of emotions, love, warmth, concern and care! They have a sheen of innocence which urges us to forgive even the biggest mistakes of our Raizada!
I have always maintained that along with fab portrayal, for iconic characters, the actor also has to look the part! Both Sobti and Irani look ASR and KKG in every sense of the word!!

Yeah, ASR's smile is celebrated...even i have my set of AD friends who couldn't stop raving and smiling and going all ga-ga about Arnav's once-in-a-blue-moon smiles! Barun is quite a find!

So SP,sure Arnav is a well written character but Sobti has breathed life into this character of ASR on screen. Some things should be left untouched... ASR is something which will be incomplete without BS! I hope you are samajhdaar enough and that you did not mean it when you did that ghastly comparison😛

Kudos Barun for giving us the Sexy Raizada👍🏼

this reminds us why asr has become iconic character.

this is what i had said in another thread..

i have seen many loves tories with a dark, brooding hero, but those characters were hardly potrayed in a way viewers could feel the very essence of it..

the character sketch can be successful only when it is potrayed to the perfection. everybody cant live up to it.

having said that, ASR wouldnot have become epic, if not for bs.
