There are many members currently in the forum who has inside news on this matter but are not reay to divulge. I can understand their need for secrecy but without any proof or sources, its very hard to believe them. I work in one of those professions where I need to tell people what their mistakes are and push them in the right direction; basically tell them "how to do their job right". So basically work with PERSONALITIES (read attitude, egos, stubbornness and arrogance) more than PEOPLE. As much as challenging it has been this definitely taught me and gave enough wisdom to analyze and understand people and see the real person behind the mask. And I was able see thru BARUN and he is one of the most HONEST people I have ever seen. I haven't met him, I haven't seen him, I have never spoken to him but he is so genuine and truthful that you cannot miss it!! It doesn't matter how we interact with him, we can't ignore him and cannot stop him from impressing us.

I watched his interview with Gul, tears started rolling down my cheeks!! No I wasn't crying, I don't even know what to call the emotions that came with those tears.

Coming back to the interview, every frame of the interview was SHOUTING "THIS IS FOR CLEARING GUL'S NAME", this is "FOR BARUN TO TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CHAOS AND OTHERS MISTAKE".

80% of the interview was about what we heard million times on different interviews, write-ups, articles etc (How well written the show is, how everybody has worked really hard to bring this together, ASR was a very dark character, how they pulled a prank on NK that Abhaas is a gay, how IPK is a family etc etc).

10% was about Gul making Barun tell everybody how PH/CVs accommodated his break for his movie, changed storyline for him and when he was not done so they again accommodated his schedule, and how Gul never blasted him blah blah.

10% was all about Barun thanking Gul and praising her.

Did Gul even THANK his once? ' NO. There was not even a single streak of emotion that said she really regrets that Barun is leaving or she is gonna miss him or anything that said that she is really thankful to him for all the hard work he put in, for epitomizing the fictional character she has in her head. There was not even a word about GOOD LUCK or ENJOY YOUR BREAK!! So that tells a lot about what was being shown!!

I don't know if Barun made the decision to quit, I don't know what his priorities are and what drove him to take this decision and I know it's all beyond me but one thing I could tell was, he is going thru a lot, he is mentally and emotionally drained. His eyes, heart and words were not in sync when he was giving the interview (except when he spoke about Sanaya, writers, his hardwork and Abhaas).

Many are asking a question ' Why can't Barun come clean? Yeah I had the same question too!! But then there was something missing LOGIC!!

When Barun went for his movie and fandom was creating havoc that he is leaving he gave an exclusive interview saying "HE IS NOT LEAVING, HE IS STILL SHOOTING AND WILL BE BACK ONCE HIS MOVIE SHOOT WRAPS UP".

One of the statements that really stayed with me from that interview was he said "I LEFT MY HOME CAME TO THIS INDUSTRY JUST TO BE SEEN, SO YOU ARE GONNA TO SEE LOT OF ME". in another interview of his he also said "I am here to work, the medium doesn't matter (TV or Movies) but I just want to act and do lots of work."

So a guy who "JUST WANT TO BE SEEN" 5 months back decides to take a break, quit with NOTHING ON HAND''Hmmm'.THAT DOESN'T FIT IN THE LOGIC!!

None of the arguments put forth by the PH or SP make in sense...because if they were true...then surely Barun would be mad ...to be doing something so crazy...he probably needs therapy...😉

Yes he may want a 10-12 break...who doesn't want it?...all of us who work hard and long hours want and need it from time to time...but this longish indefinite break with nothing specific in mind for a 28 year old man at the peak of his career? really?

And why would he not take it between projects? after the show ends? especially when there is probably only a couple of months more to go on the show? what is so pressingly urgent that he can't have a short vacation (10-12 days) now and take the long break after the show ends...? there doesn't seem anything in particular...not according to him, not according to Gul, not even according to SP...so why?

And if Barun is so flighty as they would have us believe...then is he the same man who worked so long and hard for so many months and even juggled two shoots simultaneously? Is he the same man who took just one day off for his own wedding and was back on shoot the next day...for a show that was not even so big or popular? or does his character have the same inconsistencies and 360 degree turnarounds as the characters on the show are having these days? Barun is not a fictional character. He is real person. So these inconsistencies of behaviour in the same person just don't add up. And my impressions are just based on the facts that everyone knows...I have no insider information at all...

As Jamba said in her post...Ak-al (AKash-payAL) has indeed left the house...if we are expected to believe all that they are putting out...

i watched sobti frm shradda...watched BHPH to see him only...but was never impressed by his acting...still watched it...but ipkknd changed the whole thing...ASR is written well...but it was made epic by barun and directer...

Barun Sobti has been victimised and almost 10 ppl on this forum are saying more or less the same thing..Instead of applying a little bit of logic..all we do is jump the guns...and of course..most of us have no knowledge of what's happening behind closed doors..so we are the easiest targets..

And yea..a simple logic..for us Barun Sobti might be a very special person..but at the end of the day..it's impossible for him to play games against the big Fish(Read PH)..it's smart of him to keep his mouth shut..If he really had been "impulsive" and "unprofessional" as the forum frequently suspects him to be..believe me...we'd have the can of worms opened a long time back!!

very true. If I apply logic then this whole things seems fishy and twisted. The absurdity of the whole matter is clear as day but amidst all this the bottom line is barun has left the show. That's it. No matter how much we analyse the situation the blame has squarely been put on barun and that's how Gul has played

Thanks for pointing out lot's of good questions. We deserved to be answered. The question is who will answer. I don't want to hear any one from this forum giving the answer on behalf!!
My question and could call it confusion with Star Plus activities.
SP took few bold steps. Firstly by lying to us all. Secondly, telling us to let them know if we like to have Barun and keep the show going on air.
Why they want us to let them know? Is this some kind of tricky stunts for media popularity or what? Who actually own this show.

I just want to see the end of dirty politics with all of us who love IPK, Barun/Sanaya. Clear the image of Barun and show us the real ugly face. If they don't say anything let's find out. They are under estimating the power of people.. how long they could suppress the public outrage?
