Entertainment world and ethics do not go hand in hand for me.

If entertainment world is about talent, be it actors or technicians then we would always get to see fabulous entertainment all around.

In the movie world, sons and daughters of celebrities rule the roost.

In US, sons and daughters of rich people get reality shows to mint more millions.

Entertainment business, is making money out of the guilty pleasures of viewing audience.

I do not see entertainment world or entertainment business as making money out of and for the talent of people involved.

When that is the case, when audience lap up a Singham type movie 15 other movies with similar mass heroism gets made. When audience lap up Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak from two new comers, then 15 more films are made to cash in on that aspect.

Where popularity lasts maybe until next friday, when attnetion of audience can be drwan by the next sensationalish, whether it be BS or SP, they will do, what they think is the audience pulse.

Yes, SP has the power. But it will never be possible for an television actor to weild the same power. But that does not stop any actor from walking out, if he has fulfilled his contractual obligations. People have fought Ekta. The power she yielded once upon a time was so big, TV channels bowed to her and changed programming to suit her whims and wishes.

But actors fought against her. Some won, some lost.

I dont know what I am doing. All I know is I agree with you, but I can't see SP as the villain or BS as the victim or vice versa.

Entertainment business is the next in the bottom of pile after politics.
