Why Risk TRPs CVs?

A thought is gnawing at the back of my head, if Barun had to leave for a break as he is saying than why wasn't a plot arranged by the CV's for him to go in the two months that TRP ratings were out than there would not had been a risk of the show being axed during his absence and we would have been not as panicky as we our now!!! 😕
