File a lawsuit or not, someone please send this thread link to SP and 4Lions.
Let them feel some more of the fan pressure... the legal way now! 😆

Guys...I know this might sound...funny. But, I am serious. I am not doing it because Barun is leaving or to end the show...this is entirely towards Starplus and 4lions for all all the emotional toil I am going through just because of their politics. They have taken us for a ride.

I feel betrayed as a viewer ...getting emotionally attached to a lovestory...and they just snatch it away in a second. IPKKND is the first and only Indian serial I have watched. This is not fair ...is it?

It will give me at least a mental satisfaction. I am extremely sad.

Are there any lawyers in the forum? I need some advice

I am not speculating anything but based on the rumours, if they let ASR or Khushi to have another love interest

1. Can I sue 4 lions for misleading and deceptive conduct? They showed such a soulful love story and deceived us.

2. Sue them for trauma and loss of income and productivity. I will be traumatised if they showed them with anyone else and I have wasted so much of my time on IPK, i feel sick.

Finally can I take action against them for not warning of an addiction before I started watching IPK. In Utube adult content comes with a warning (like the farmhouse episode), why didn't they warn us about this addiction?

Please advice!!!

my lawyer said that we can sue for the negligent infliction of emotional distress...I will be meeting her...she is going to explain the whole thing to me and my option.i am just waiting for tomorrow...I heard that there is a meeting with Starplus. Lets see.

Yes...as consumers we have some rights...it's just like selling cigarettes with a warning ...it's injurious to health.

OMG you are serious!!! I truly wondered about this as well. take me for an example, never watched a serial in my life,a actually thought serial is for people with no life. now yesterday my husband told me that there is life other than serial. this is not good for national productivity yaar. btw you are in US right?

But if for some weird reason you're serious, just letting you know you can't claim damages for "emotional distress" lol. Claiming damages usually don't include for disappointment and distress unless their contract was for the provision of enjoyment, entertainment or pleasure (which generally is highly unlikely)

Also you can't force them to continue the show for you (specific performance). Specific performance won't be ordered if it requires personal services because personal services depend on the goodwill of a performer
