Sorry for my fellow IF friends who will be expecting my usual fun post about today's episode - I have decided to write a post about something else entirely instead as I feel we need to realise something. I have have seen several posts after posts either bashing Khushi or Arnav or CVs - only Laxmi has excaped so far - some are even sick and tired of seeing the current track and the way Khushi and Arnav behaves. After watching the last few weeks and the way Khushi has behaved after Aarav and Sheetal entered her life and how Arnav has behaved towards Khushi and also the way he has stuck a bond with Aarav. After a lenghty discussion with my husband I realised something - this track is actually pretty good and the CVs are doing something we have all been waiting for. We have misunderstood the CVs all along - they are not trying to ruin this show or the characters arent being butchered - infact they are laying the groundwork for Arnav's redemption subtle. Before you throw things at me let me explain why I am okay with this track and also optimistist about the future episodes:
After Arnav saw Khushi with Shyam - he was filled with rage over the fact that Shyam betrayed Anjali but most importantly he was devastered that he has loved and lost Khushi to another man. It didnt matter that the other man was Shyam and his brother-in-law but only that Khushi is now out of reach and he can never have her. Arnav after the forced marriage would everytime flinch in pain and anger whenever he saw Shyam and Khushi together - he would see an interaction between them and jump to his own conclusion. Everytime single time Arnav saw them together - he would react in anger towards Khushi and would end up hurting her without giving her the reason for his anger and disgust. We have seen this time and time again from the terrace hug, Ranhja Heer scene etc. that Arnav will be jealous and possessive towards Khushi.
We are seing exactly the same situation here with Sheetal and Aarav entering their lives - this time the difference is that Khushi is the one to feel that insecurity and jealousy towards not only Sheetal but also towards Aarav. Khushi is the one this time who is seeing a scene with Arnav, Aarav and Sheetal and is jumping to conclusions that is affecting her mental state. Just like Arnav Khushi is not telling him what is really bothering her and is hurting in private. Arnav reacted to the jealousy and possesiveness with anger like a typical man while Khushi is overreacting with comedy and quit pain like a woman. Arnav has always lashed out at the world and always showed what he feels in every single second and doesnt hide this feelings from anyone. While Khushi on the other hand - never shows the world that she is hurting and instead uses laughter to hide the pain. She is doing excatly that with the over the top behaviour with Arnav and Aarav and also towards Sheetal. The difference between Arnav and Khushi here is how they deal with the challenge - Arnav never tried to find out the truth about Shyam and her and instead ignored the whole thing while Khushi is opposite. She is trying to find out if Aarav is truly Arnav's son so that she can get a difinite answer and can than take the decision to how to proceed this matter. In fact Khushi is much more mature in handling life's challenges than Arnav has ever been - she goes straight to the challenge and doesnt care about anything else expect unsolving the truth while Arnav buries his head in a sand and expects the world to just move on without his contribution.
This is what the CVs have been trying to show us with these sometime horrible sometime good episodes these past few weeks. After realising this I am all set for some major drama and tears which always follows after Khushi OTT behaviours. We are again heading towards a painful time for the couple and I cannot wait to see how Arnav and Khushi will react to the situation and how they manage to conquer yet another obstacle the destiny has thrown at them.
