Hi! My name is Appu… 😊
Most of you don't know me, I used to post in Redux… but today, I thought to share with all of you my thoughts on some old and golden episodes of our favourite show. Do let me know how you like it. These thoughts were born while watching some of the previous reruns… I tried matching the dates with the present dates… but that was a failure… so I had to settle for remembering the episodes that were aired in or around this time… I don't stick to a particular style, sometimes just pointers or sometimes just a description of a particular scene, whatever the mood strikes me… sometimes I skip episodes altogether… so, if you are interested, come join me, on a journey back in time…
but before proceedimng further, let me avail myself of anticipatory bail... I am no writer, so do forgive me any mistakes and grammatical errors... also what is written here is my interpretation... it may not agree with yours, ang I am always open to suggestions...😃THESE DAYS THAT YEAR

A Girl, A Goat and Several Rescues…
Nani finds out about the duplicate goatwa and gives it left, right and centre to Lavanya.
Shyam keeps calling up Anjali and pesters her to wear the particular necklace that he had planted in Khushi's bag… Anjali takes the case out of the cupboard and is about to find out that it is empty, when DM in the form of Laxmi intervenes… she keeps the case on the bed and runs in response to Nani's raised voice demanding Laxmi back…
Khushi saves the day… she further shields Lavanya by saying that it was her idea of the substitute goat. Nani sees through her ploy and admonishes her for lying to protect Lavanya. Though Mami is unimpressed, Lavanya has a change of heart…
Hello hi bye bye! Ee Saasu Maa se deal karte karte humra sir chakraye rahe… aisan laagat hai ki kaunu horror film dekh ke aawat hai… uu bhi 3D ma… arrey Jai Prakash… humre kamre mein ek chai bhijwa diyo… interval hui gawa…
Lavanya catches up with Khushi outside Nani's room and asks her why she defended her… Khushi tells her that it is part of her job. If she gets credit when Lavanya is approved by Nani, then she should also take responsibility for Lavanya's mistakes. Khushi further goes on to say that she was brought here so that Lavanya is taught how to meet with Nani's approval and Arnav and Lavanya do not have to leave the house… and Khushi will do anything towards this goal…
Her words are heard by ASR…
he stops to listen and is disarmed… he witnesses the forging of a new friendship…
La extends her hand in friendship and makes an attempt to drop "Chamkili" and call her new friend "Khushi", when an ecstatic Khushi declares that…
Ab jab hum dost hi ban chuke hain, toh aap jo chahe humein bula sakte hai…
La gets a call and leaves…
Khushi and Arnav comes face to face…
Both stop short… both have an eyelock…
She is quiet, she feels strange… she used to be at loggerheads with this Laad Governor; but something has changed… a subtle shift. Ever since she threw tea on him and she apologized, she had felt differently. He had smiled… actually smiled; and she was aware how rare that smile was. Still she was unsure… where does she stand now? She is also unsure of what she feels towards him. As he stands before her like that… no trace of anger or dislike on his face… she also notices the burn marks she had inflicted on his chest… she lowers her eyes a tad guiltily…
Arnav too stays there… looking, just looking. He is re-assessing his preconceived notions about this girl. Her sense of responsibility… her willingness to take the blame for her actions and her readiness to apologise and rectify her mistakes; he had also noticed, the openness and delight with which she had welcomed Lavanya's overtures for friendship. For a minute there, Arnav gave in to the pull of his heart and just let himself indulge in the luxury of feeling… feeling the softness that was creeping into his heart regarding a certain… Khushi Kumari Gupta. And the softness was clearly visible... in his expression and in his eyes…
An awkward moment or two… Khushi looks up… and notices dirt on his cheek. She tries to point it out to him.
A normally sharp ASR is in a semi-trance. He looks at her questioningly… adorably confused
Khushi then drops gesturing and says in words… "Aapke Gaal Pe"
Reflexes a trifle delayed he catches on to what she is trying to say… he unsuccessfully tries to dab at his cheeks.
Khushi looks on amused… but her amusement is short lived… as right at that moment, La comes back… and with all the rights of an acknowledged girlfriend, she dabs at his cheek and gets rid of the dirt…
Something bothers Khushi at this sight. She is uncomfortable, but does not know why. She walks away, and that her heart is heavy is evident by the way she looks back a while later, yearningly and with longing in her eyes at the tableau…
It is no different for Arnav. All the while La was touching him, never once did his eyes leave Khushi. It was as if he couldn't pry his eyes off her… his eyes follow her as she begins to walk off… almost as if willing her to look back… it was as if he never ever registered poor La ministering to him… almost as if he was wishing it was another pair of hands touching him…
While Arnav and Khushi were lost in a sea of confusing emotions; and La, oblivious of the undercurrents, was attending to ASR… DM was quietly at work in another part of the house… an adorable and lovable goat was rummaging in Khushi's fascinating cloth-bag…
On the other hand, Shyam is still pestering Anjali to wear the necklace… and finally, Anjali catches on to the fact that the necklace is missing. Shyam is happy… he is waiting for Khushi to be thrown out… there is a furore at RM…
Mami slyly takes the opportunity to insult Khushi… everyone else is aghast at Mami's instigation… Khushi is hurt beyond ,measure… and La, sweet La… stands up for her new-found friend… which annoys Mami further…
Khushi, hurt, heartsore and tearful… but with immense self-possession and quaint dignity agrees to submit herself to a check… she empties her bag… and right at the end stops short….
