I'm sorry, I don't agree with you. He is disgusting! The way he backed off from her just added to the humiliation she had already suffered from his Dadi. I don't think it has anything to do with him melting etc. He is not thinking about her, he is thinking about himself only.

I want them to be together, but not at her expense. She should leave him right now and teach him a hard lesson so he does not keep on doing this. Abuse her and break her heart. Everytime something happens, he s---s* on her! I say enough!
