See I am okay with DB asking for screen space but she should be able to deliver on that. The thing is where was DB when Barun was out for 2 months. Why didn't she shoulder the show during that time. They could have opened a track wherein Anjali gets a whiff of Arnav being kidnapped. Why didn't she demand screen space then. Sanaya, Karan and Abhaas took the show forward and then also we were clicking 2.9+ TRPs with IPL on full force. After kidnapping Daljeet took rather hijacked the show at the wrong point. The viewers were waiting for some redemption from Arnav but since DB forced and creatives listened we got Di Ki Saut and Di Ki Liye storyline and redemption was swept under the rug.

The Miscarriage was another point where DB could have delivered. She could have shown the pain of losing a child and moved the viewers and could have gathered sympathy. But instead she started Shyam jaap mala and it really killed the character. Who the hell makes kheer for her husband when she lost her child bare 3 days back. And who dresses up in see through net sarees and looks like a radiant new bride after miscarriage. There was no loss/no emotional grieving from Anjali. Yesterday Jeevika aborted her baby but both Viren and Jeevika bought out the pain of losing the child so well. I think DB has sealed her career with her re-negotiations and her portrayal of Anjali yesterday killed that character as well.
