Please note - Of the last 4 episodes, I have probably watched in total 7 minutes. I have read the updates, and well, let's just say there is no motivation to sit through it all.

I am at the point of not caring. I see folks trying to explain actions - not justify, but explain - taken by ASR, by Khushi and I am left thinking how can you do that? None of what we see right now in the show resembles anything close to what I happen to remember as these characters. I don't even remember Nani or Anjali or Shyam like this. There is character growth and then there is what I personally feel we have witnessed, which is character slaughter.

The Khushi I remember would never have buckled under to evil. That is the one thing that was so solid in her belief system, that good will always prevail over evil. Her belief was so strong in this that she smacked shyam for his deceit, that she is always praying to DM to help her choose the way of the righteous and just. So, how do you explain the complete brain fart and annihilation of self respect that is bringing back your own and your husband's murderer into a house, against the expressed wishes of the man whom you vowed to protect with your last to said murderer when you found out he kidnapped him. You can't, so why try. This is not the Khushi I remember, so I can't explain her.

The ASR I remember would have never allowed Shyam back in the house. He would have tossed out that fool regardless of his sister's tears or slow mo boogey down the stairs. The ASR I knew, would have shoved his decision down everyone's throats because when he is just, he faces his decisions. He has fallen in love, and while doing that, I guess his brains also fell out. The ASR I saw defend La's right to stay in the house, the ASR I saw stand up to those neighbors and pronounce that Khushi is his wife and should be treated as such, the ASR that I saw hold onto Khushi even while Dadi stood there, wouldn't have been like this. He would have fought right there. So, I am not going to explain, because this isn't the ASR I remember.

The Anjali that I remember wasn't this selfish selfcentered delusion manipulative attention seeker. She was manipulative in the past, with her walking out to the mandir to force Khushi's return and so forth, but she was open about it. Now she is a plain deceitful liar with flawed thinking. Chotte never lies, so he's right about Shyam, he lusted on Khushi, but Shyam is my life, I want him back and I also love that Khushiji is my sister in law, no hard feelings. No brain neither. I can't explain her, so not going to try.

When Nani feels she is right, she doesn't back down either. So what is this nonsense of her letting Shyam in also without a fight. She pushed back on La hard. She pushed back on ASR when he brought Khushi hard. So why is she like this now? Do we even have a real reason as to why the entire lot Raizada's Gupta's Malik's and Prakash's pander to Anjali? No. So, how can I explain or understand anything when there is no reason and the character has disappeared.

And Shyam. Well, when in the hell has this idiot villain ever succeeded and now he's predicting behavior and succeeding. Whatever. Can't explain, don't want to.

The sloppy story is now filled with loopholes and character assassinations to support the loopholes. I loved ArHi, but this is not them. And this story should have had the depth that this couple first exhibited in their relationships and their character. The story has been watered down to the typical and the characters have become shells of their former selves. That's the only explanation that works for anything here anymore.

Sorry to be a downer, but watching this serial's creative demise is a downer.

Bang on!

None of the characters resemble their original sketch...except Shyam, ofcourse. He was a caricature to begin with and remains so.

I feel no connection to the story. The intense emotional scenes don't move me. The tender moments (those few and far in between) don't touch me. The romance (whatever 2 seconds every 2 weeks) doesn't get my heart beat to race. There is nothing to look forward to. There is nothing to keep us engaged. And what is worse...I don't even feel like watching scenes from the past. They remind me of the promise of awesomeness that this show carried then and how it has completely failed to deliver.

There is no looking back and there is no going forward. This PH has once again taken it's audience to great heights, kept them at the edge of anticipation for too long, and have dropped them off a cliff into nothingness.

Yes, why do I tune in? Despite the hollowness of the story, the inconsistencies of scripting, the shoddiness of editing, dilution of the lead characters, inconsequential nature of the side characters, shyam fixation, we still get performances from the ex-leads that are a pleasure to watch. But we pay a huge price in the form of exasperation, disappointment and frustration for a pleasure which is not a reflection of the quality of the show. The real question is, how long will i continue to tune in??

This is a story about shyam and shyam alone. I hope the PH realizes that they are repeating history. Once this audience is turned off, they won't return for next attempt to "re-package" the same product.

Anu...I digressed a bit...but I am a disgruntled member of their loyal audience. I appreciate the space to speak my mind and you continue to speak mine.

Res:

I will eat some kheer and be right back. oh wait, does it have rat poison in it? 😛

Edit:
Darn it... there was no rat poison in that kheer!

I won't say I don't care... I do care. I only care about the end of the show now. I'm going off on a tangent here... excuse me.
The love story part of the story is over now... the drama has taken over. After showing Anjali as a woman in denial of her surroundings, I wonder how they will bring closure to her? Will she ever find out that Shyam is homicidal? or will Shyam be successful with his bicchoo plans and that will be the end of Anjali??? or or or Shyam will reform for the better and prove our dear Khushi is so right in giving him another chance???

Arnav and Khushi both know they love eachother and have confessed it. They are married in one minute and to be married in another. I guess the CVs think that the mystery element is lost in their relation. I should be joining the "I Dont Care" club because I only signed up for Arnav-Khushi love story.

I haven't watched the episode but saw the precap and this is my question.
Arnav threw Shyam out when Khushi told him that Shyam is evil personified. Now she went out of her way to get him back without discussing it with Arnav. Why is Khushi surprised to see Arnav upset with her in the precap? Was Khushi thinking Arnav will feed her Jalebi from chandni chowk for a job welldone?

Thanks for the post momma 🤗

amazing post!

for me we are officially not watching IPKKND .. we are watching Didi Ki Sauth.

by making khushi bring in shyam they opened up that can of worms.. so tomm when shyam .. get caught again.. and he will cuz he is the stupidest smart villain all will blame khushi and khushi alone. and garima will also be added to the insult list. all will throw accusations at garima and khushi with shyam at the helm stating being characterless runs in khushi family. arnav will most likely be shown gritting his teeth and walking away .. sacrifice his "khushi" for di 🤢

they are out of ideas and want to rinse an repeat the same thing.. so any growth in any character has to be turned around so they can show the same thing over an over. they have sidelined and butchered the characterization their own leads esp. khushi for their fav. character shyam and fav. actor DB.

ur right y explain .. they have made up their minds and we have to make up ours.

Well said Anu,👏The script is a downer, its like watching an altogether different show now. The original creative team is not there, they have new people writing for this show, who don't have a clue. Divs said even Arshad Khan's name is appearing in the new SONY TV show. So those are left from the beginning are Gul and the actors except Deepali who made the wisest decision ever.

I am not going to explain or justify anybody's actions, its worthless, the characters which had qualities that define them are no longer shown. Everybody is shown to be dumb except Shyam. No matter what he is winning all the time. I can't take it any more. My day today life is much better than what they show on TV. I don't have to watch this crap and spoil my mood. FYI, haven't watched the show since Friday 31st august 2012 when they showed murder, have been reading only WUs and Barun breaking down scene on that Monday Sept 3rd for his acting, I did not even see ASR slap Shyam either as I don't care about anything anymore.

They showed killing of an unborn and the new s articles, magazines even the actors in off screen interviews call it a miscarriage. We both are mothers we know that any unborn dead after 6 months is not miscarriage it is still born or called fetal mortality. So when they could show something like this and just call it miscarriage, everything else is trivial and all the characters are butchered beyond redemption, no recourse for this show, its become absolutely pathetic.

P.S: I want ASR killed and Barun to leave the show, as the longer he stays it will be a disaster to his career. Because as a Barun fan I want to see him in better things.

I haven't watched for a week!!! And don't plan to either.

CVs think people have patience to go through SH*T THAT THEY THROW WEEK AFTER WEEK IN THE NAME OF ENTERTAINMENT/ DRAMA AND LONGEVITY OF THIS SERIAL. We don't.

Today IPKKND SUNK TO A NEW LOW AND SO DID KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA. She went against her husband, her beliefs, values and THE TRUTH - at this point I don't think she is any better than Anjali! Atleast Anjali didn't believe that ASR was nearly killed by Shyam. KH KNEW HE WAS NEARLY KILLED BY SHAYM AND YET SHE ALLOWED HIM TO COME BACK!

There's no way this drama can recover from what happened today. Bye Bye Idiots!
