Completely agree here. Fab post. 👏Sick is the right word.

Writers have lost all forms of humanity that's all I can conclude with this. Making a mockery of sensitive topics such as miscarriage was totally uncalled for.
Those dismissing this as simply a fictional depiction are out of their minds. Fiction hurts. The means in which it was executed was completely and utterly neurotic. Shyam's reaction all the while made my blood boil, nothing more.

I'm not sure what creatives call entertainment, but such things do not go down well with a large female audience. No woman--in fact, no sane human being--wants to see a father mercilessly kill an unborn child. It's morally degraded.

What is the social message in this?

Where is the Nayi Sooch in this? 😕

But what can you expect from Shyam? He doesn't love Anjali, tried to kill her three times so what makes us think that he can't do this? Does the child mean ANYTHING to him? Nope! Anyway, it was wrong and should've not happened.

This is the problem with showing this kind of shit -- you are 20 years old and you are already cynical enough to think that people like Shyam exist in the world or that people like Anjali could have their point in life.

Popular culture has the strongest influence on people when they are growing up.

I was recently talking to a 17 year old boy. He started an argument with me that said "doing something that is going to help you and your family is OK even if it is considered morally wrong"!!! He got this method from a story he read about the lead in a band he loves. Obviously he considers the band to be full of successful people so he considers them to be his role models. He learnt from them that as long as it helps them, it is worth doing!!!

Think about what kind of an impact it will have on society when every single person thinks the same -- civility will go out the window and we will be back to being savages. Shyam like characters should not exist and if they do exist someone should be sharp enough to catch them and put them in their place. That is the meaning of a positive society.

This show is promoting a sick society. As my friend and as I told you I am older than you -- PLease dont ever think that this is anywhere near reality. The world and people are not this f**kED UP.

You know the funny thing is that when I read a book that has a sociopath committing all sorts of heinous crimes, it doesn't offend or shock me coz I know that this behaviour is expected from that person & that's what the story is about. I don't go criticizing the creator for all the wrongs she/he made the character do. BUT, here is where I draw the line when I see something of what I saw today. The Cvs take a somewhat dumb villain who can never get anything right, whose more there for the amusement factor (at least for me for i really did laugh at all his antics), & suddenly turn him into such a soulless creep.
Many will argue that he did try to kill Shahi, & then Anjali, so he was very evil to begin with but the fact remains that none of his attempts were successful & he ended up being a caricature of a villain. Now to suddenly show him as succeeding & that too in such a puke worthy manner is an absolute travesty of creative thinking. Either show him to be a sociopath whose a veritable genius who doesn't fail in any of his well thought out plans, right from the start, or, in shaym's case, continue to show him as the bungling idiot that he really is who gets his comeuppance soon, without seriously hurting anybody. BE CONSISTENT CVs where your characters are concerned. Don't try to change them in the middle, without strong reasons, for if you do, then this is the mess that you end up with.

It is a basic instinct that a female has when one is pregnant, it just comes...you dont go to school to get it, you dont read about it in books, it is there...
What I saw today was putrid...but I am angry at myrtle too...any human whether pregnant or not, steps on a glass the natural instinct that just comes is to back off...we all do, even babies...when they are hurt they automatically go into the defence mode...that is just given...what the myrtle did was to step again on the glass...
The whole point is to bring daiya ho back in the house??was this the only way?? Do i even care???this show is OVER for me atleast

Seriously this is bloody murder and these sick perverts are justifying this in name of revenge ?..If Shyam had to take revenge on the Raizada clan , the cvs can come up with several other ways to do them rather to kill a unborn 7 month old..I am a mother, I am really appalled by this sadistic act today...

After today's episode I have just washed my hands off this senseless crap they call entertainment...

Exactly this show is not about Charles Mansion of the Unibomber!!! That is a different type of show. This is meant to be a family "LOVE STORY" which is meant for all audiences.

Showing this guy and showing him winning and smiling as his wife gets her feet butchered by his glass and then the woman is running around to see if he is around somewhere to make sure their secret is not out?????? WHAT ON EARTH IS THIS SHOW?

SICK f**ks

Exactly what my wife said -- as soon as you step in the glass -- you back off not move forward still looking for the sick creep.

I agree -- the show is OVER.
