Rima, I think you speak for many of us on the forum in this regard. This parallel lead nonsense is a direct result of a certain actor requesting more screen time and a general bias by the CVs towards Abbas.

When Lalit was there he was a favourite and he remains a favourite today. Thus the CVs can only think of storylines to include him and are not thinking outside the box or taking into account that they are just wasting a golden opportunity to strike whist the iron is steaming hot with Arnav & Khushi. These two are the hottest Jodi today yet neither Star Plus or 4 Lions are using this to their advantage!
How many shows does Star Plus have with such a large international audience?
Notwithstanding there's limited PR for this couple and conversely the show!

As you have indicated there are many loose ends that can carry this show for some time with just Arhi! Marriage is never easy and with these two sparks will away fly. I am not sure what the qualifications are for the writers of these soaps but on this show they lack imagination and there's no evidence that they perform any research on the story's introduced. i.e. the marriage contract , pregnancy etc

Swati did more research on the instution of Indian marriages than any of the writers did. Additionally the whole pregnancy bit is a joke from the start. Pregnancy is not an illness it is a condition! Pregnant women are only given prenatal supplements not medication! Any pregnant woman knows that even if you get a cold you are told you cannot take any medication!! Let me stop there because I could write an entire post on the lack of factual information on not just this soap but others that I have taken a peek at now and again. So my question remains what are the writers qualifications?

In conclusion I would again ask Gul Khan, if she wanted a Mills & Boon type of hero or story why not hire writers with that background? Logically speaking if the same old writers for these soaps are being
recycled how different can each soap be from the other?
As any good HR firm will tell you, the success to building a dynamic team is diversity. And I do not mean ethnicity only. I mean diversity in gender, ethnicity, well experienced, rookies, avant guard and conservative etc etc. In brief a good mixture of folks to ensure they can leverage of each other.

Good post as always.

Very well said Rima. You echo most of our sentiments but are the CV s interested to listen to us ???🤢

I was having chats with some of my friends regarding this show. Couple of them said there is something wrong between Dadi-Garima & that is quiet interesting. I asked what about Shyam-Anjali & they said oh that is so boring he has already tried so many times & failed & she is so blind !!

Well what I am trying to say that from that little convo I had, I had a feeling that the CV s could have used only one suspense i.e Dadi-Garima & made the wedding much more interesting.

Rather than this Shyam-Anjali drama which frankly nobody is interested including me!!

Again I am in UK & my friends are also hence we are not TRP audience but I have a feeling that these sentiments are same in the TRP audience too.

They had couple of very good weeks with intense drama & romance then they fell flat again with giving Shyam-Anjali drama a major preference !!😲

No inane comedy pls! Like Khushi falling off a chair while talking of her parents. Or spilling something on Arnav's lap when she is recounting the many blows she has received from him.

yes ...u r rirht...
they should show the scenes with some seriousness...

Yep! It shows on the post -- I wanted to sit here and write some today! But not many comments on Rima's post Harshi!

I have always had this thought, the forum had two groups

1. The intellectual types and generally people who are more the thinking types -- Khushi Lovers
2. Barun Droolers.

I think the first category is not as active as I have seen it during the last few months. The second category is still OK because they are not bothered by what is being shown -- their guy is still on the screen.

We obviously belong to the Khushi camp and I find myself going more towards "losing interest" -- today for the first time I got onto the forum with one single purpose -- screw with people and have some fun.

Cheers.

The CVs can try a lot as far as Arnav and Khushi's story is concerned. But do they really want to? These days they seem to be showing ArHi's part of the story very half-heartedly. When the contract issue came up, they made a comedy out of it and wrapped it up. When they had to show Arnav's guilt. they limited it to one scene. And now ArHi's wedding is going on, and yet ArHi are sidetracked. There has been a half-hearted approach as far as ArHi are concerned for quite some time (and I do not mean by the no. of ArHi scenes or rabba ves but about their story progression). Looks like the CVs are still under the delusion that only daadi-Garima's drama and Shyam-Anjali's stuff can give them the necessary TRPs...

I need real conversation betn the 2. It cn be romantic or emotional. I won't mind either. Eyelocks, RV's, tentative hugs and missed kisses don't do it 4 me. It seems so immature and juvenile. Not watching a teenage love story.

i absolutely agree
a mills and boon type of romance needs a fresh young romantic mind and not some jaded, tried and failed writer
losing LM was the show's biggest blow from which they never seem to recover
