So Barun had a problem, he was uncomfortable. He did not wanted to "touch" Sanaya. Are you 100% sure? Maybe it's not what you're thinking. An actor does what he/she is told to do, if they feel uncomfortable doing any sort of romantic/love scene then they shouldn't be acting. Today the director is to be blamed for their uncomfortableness and for rushing their scene.

PS: We all know that Barun is married and Sanaya is in a relationship. Maybe sometimes both Sanaya and Barun do feel a bit awkward while shooting romantic scenes, which is normal but It's their job and I'm sure Barun's wife and Mohit understand this very well so lets not drag them in. =)

Naddiya! U solved the whole connfusioon :) thank you! Well today fr the frst tym even i felt tht he vsnt touching bt my second reaction vs tht he had put on mehandi and also by seein barun having his hand on si's waist properly in the end when nk bring them fr dance cleared my any doubt tht he wsnt comfrtable or sort!

Exactly!!!! Plz try to understand tht not touching was very much INTENTIONAL
Arnav was try to steal the mehendi and it's not tht BS or SI are uncomfortable, plz rewatch it n I m sure ur doubts w'll b all clear 😊

LOL! Chaitra has "every right" to express what she sees and feels.

What the hell is wrong with you people? If someone sees something and expresses it why on earth do you have to attack them? Where is the civility? If you disagree, all you have to say is "I didnt see it that way or I didnt feel it" but not this crap!

Civility? When there's post criticising Barun/ASR.? That is too much to expect from some people on this forum.

Disclaimer: I am a BS fan and this is NOT a bashing post. :P

I agree with everything the original TM said. I was absolutely rooting for the RV scene, but there was something definitely lacking in BS's performance here. And, was absolutely put-off by the hand cupping. He did not cup his hand at 0:29 when he pulled her to him - that showed the right amount of intensity. I agree with the mehndi argument, but ASR did not get the mehndi on his left hand until 1:32 when he rubs it off of KKGSR, so why the cupping before that? And, even after, the mehndi was only on his left hand, so why are both hands cupped at 3:08 during the hug? As far as expressions, some were on mark, some were a bit forced. Not sure why BS is a bit off these days in romantic scenes, and why the director is not correcting him. This was NOT the case in both teri meri sequences and plus he's been far more intimate with his co-stars in his previous serials. As far as SI, she always hugs as if her life depended on it, but that intensity has lately been missing from BS's side.

As for dancing, they should not show free style dancing from him. He just looks dorky, and so not like ASR. He looks great and is very expressive during slow, choreographed numbers like teri meri or bali delhi.

Again, this is not a bashing post, just constructive criticism. After all, I'm a BS fan girl like the rest of us here. And, even when not trying, BS's performances are usually much better than most of the other telly actors out there. It's just that we've come to expect greatness from him so when things are a bit off, it's very noticeable.

Honestly very strange like someone is after their dear mother/father without reason! The simple comment made by Chaitra was "Barun does not seem comfortable". That is her opinion because people HUG strongly and there is no Mehendi on her WAIST or her back!!! So if they wanted to show a strong HUG they could have. It is also direction -- if the director is happy with Barun just wrapping his arms, well that is it then!

I am going to make a controversial reply to this post now!

You are absolutely right.There was no intention of touching,and does it matter really?He just wanted to fulfill her wish by applying a dot of mehendi on his hand. People should try and watch it clearly before commenting.His expressions was bang on,I didn't feel either of them were uncomfortable with each other.I just read another post-DC-beautifully explained about the Dori scene-well executed-whoever thinks BS can't do romantic scenes comfortably or may be this particular scene might give a thought of reading it.Just a suggestion-your wish.
