If you saw today's episode, you will see that Dadi's and Arnav's conversation had a lot of loopholes, something like a cat-and-mouse consistency, here are some of them:
1. Dadi keeps on saying, daamaadji should be back home because Anjali is pregnant and that he is Anjali's future and that the child she is carrying is Shyam's. Ok, fine, but Dadi is bound to say this because all the info she has is from Shyam, so she will side Shyam.
2. On the other hand, Arnav always says that Shyam is a liar and that he deceived his Di, so on and so forth, without listing any logical reasons for it.
Clearly, the argument is not going anywhere.
Arnav,
1. How about telling Dadi that Shyam told you on your face that he does not love Anjali?
2. How about telling Dadi that he kidnapped you and tried to murder you?
3. How about telling Dadi that he got engaged to Khushi without telling her that he is married?
4. How about producing some evidence to support your accusations?
5. How about telling your Di the most important things she needs to know about this issue? If she is pregnant does not mean that she is a tablet-eating, 24-hr resting machine that cannot be stirred up when it comes to issues like these?
6. How about doing some digging yourself, like seeing your credit card statements?
Dadi,
1. How about trying to hear Arnav's POV? like asking him pertinent questions, "what happened?" "when?" "how?" etc etc
2. How about siding your own grandson, for a change, than believing strangers?
3. How about interrogating others on the issue?
4. How about trying to see what and where the truth lies?
5. How about getting over your time-challenged gaps in knowledge and perceptions in the house and people you left 14 years ago?
Nani,
1. Keeping quiet is not required, here dialogue and effective one at that, is important.
2. How about telling your Sumo wrestling Sumi, your perecption of the sitution, rather than having her shut up all the time?
3. Why not engage this conversation with a more conclusive bent of mind rather than moderating it?
The whole argument is like a catch-22 situation. Starts off at one point, goes round and round and comes back to the same argument.
Dadi: I want Shyam back.
Arnav: No I can't admit him to this house.
Dadi: No you will have to admit him, he is Anjali's future.
Arnav: he has deceived my sister.
Dadi: But he is your Di's child's father.
Arnav: Please don't raise this issue, for 14 years we have been going through enough of this.
Dadi: No but I want Daamadji back.
Nani: Please shaant hojaaiye.
End of story.
Loss of 10 mins of viewers time and blood pressure.
When the CVs don't have to make a point, what is the point in showing pointless arguments? What are they trying to achieve?
