EMOTIONS EMOTIONS AND ONLY EMOTIONS.
if we say only family drama sells than its wrong. We always give the excuse that people like saas-bahu stories thats why ipk is not doing well. We hv to stop giving this lame excuses Thats wrong .Coz wen IPK were at 4.7 in early feb, there was no family drama
Other shows like diya bati, balika vadhu, yeh rishta are scoring well on 1 factor and that factor is
Emotions. I agree there is kitchen politics but wen a ahem modi in saathiya or suraj in diya bati feels sorry and connected to his wife and gets emotional, that makes a huge diffrence. Arnav has been on differnt zone after MU was cleared.The way he behaved with Khushi, It felt as if there was no MU only. A big mistake by Cv's
Ek hazaro mey is not a family kitchen drama but emotions are really running very high on the show.
Romance is in every show but emotions is where the other shows are getting benefiited.
even that Even pavitra rishta at 9PM has not losed hopes against Diya bati at same time.Its fighting the battle just on emotions between archana and maanav , the lead pair.
the funny thing is emotion was the biggest USP n support of IPK. Not comedy n thriller.
nobody can deny that even in simplest episodes we got emotional. Just look at that scene when arnav in mandir lets out all pigeons to make a small child happy, the dialogues were awesome.
IPK has missed out that hugely these days. Who can forget the comedy track when arnav was turned into mechanic in GH, how that concept trashed badly. Khushi is a saint who doesnt feel pain even if stabbed 1000 times. and she can do comedy even wen she knows she has been forcefully wed.
Right after 12th july outburst we expected flood of emotions but what we got next day in maha episode?? a comedy track where khushi forgets she was called a unfortunate event.
Instead of focussing on showing the emotional journey of how arnav struggles hard to win back khushi, they just summed up in 30 seconds and few blackmail episodes.
Nobody is relating to shrewd asr since he is in love. I can gurantee if after 12th july outburst , if they wud hv shown how asr feels like killing himself for saying those harsh words to khushi and how he cries out emotionally like in the ambulance scene, things wud hv been better in TRP front.That ambulance scene garnered huge TRP's . A deewana, crazy ASR is the demand not the tecnical ASR. But we directly landed to remarriage without any proper emotional track.
I bet evn just 1 month of asr repenting and missing Khushi wud hv done wonders.

Last sunday i was watching the Dirty Picture on sony. i realised that they utilised on the emotional factor hugely. In the film Emraan hashmi ruins Vidya Balan's career. but when Vidya is ruined, emraan hashmi realises he is in love with her actualy, but its too late coz emraan did affected vidya's life to the extreme vidya commits suicide and that emraan had to lose her forever.
In the last scene emraans expressions were like he is cursing himself . He killed himself i one way.
Arnav also wanted to ruin Khushi as he thought she spoiled her sisters marital bliss, but later did we get to see the emotional journey of arnav in detail??No.coz some people wannt to jump directly to rabba veys and cozy scenes and direct to remarriage.
Its very difficult for me to digest that a show on which i feel like Puking, sasural simar ka scores so well ahead of IPK. I realised they r showing emotions of a couple who hv lost their child, Ved Raj is the wrter there, and he has bought emotions there.
Even dadi , shyam wudnt have affected the concept if the real issues of IPK were not sacrificed.
So i wanna ask those viewers
did ur rabba veys help? did ur obsessive asr in SR scene help?
Did ur asr defending Khushi near family help?? did ur asr hugs help??
Rabba veys, Arnav in every frame is not answer to the issue.

Guys i wanna say a simple thing
It take a lot of effort to rise but it takes a moment to crush down.
THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE TO EMOTIONS
forget smirks, costumes, looks.
Barun sobti is not a show piece, not an item boy. He is an actor who has to be utilised. A show cant be carried just drooling on a handsome guy daily. EMOTIONS SELL.
