Why? Why? Why, Gul?

Dear, Gul!

By no means this is meant to be negative...

I am not someone who likes to say anything negative as long as possible.

As an ardent viewer, I have devoted my sleep, my time and my writing abilities to IPK...
My smile, happiness and mood - totally depend on how the show is going..

I keep positive outlook and thus speak and write positive...

But as a devoted viewer, I have some questions as my heart and mind cannot take it any longer.
Many ardent and loyal viewers do to..

So, here they are:

1. How come ASR has become so docile that he does not even demand the best possible work in his house?

2. How come the workers do not feel the aura of ASR when he is around?

3. How come Shyam is way more smart and shrewd than Aranv is these days?

4. Has Arnav become a saint?

5. Why are so many tracks at once? Throwing us viewers off!

6. Why can't we enjoy Aranv and Khushi's wedding without any problems and interruptions?

7. Why do we have to worry if there is going to be a wedding or not?

Gul,

We watch this show because it is different from all the others.. you have the best team of actors and crew with you.. then why are we losing..the grip?

Many people have these questions...

Now, whether we can rest easy and get any sleep is only up to you!

Lovely awesome post.👏 You are absolutely right about so many fans of this show have been loyal since the beginning(I am one of them), even after almost 15 months we are still here because this show was was/is different. We have all watched A and K scenes countless times that they have become part of our lives. So what happened transpired behind the scenes that the plot, track and the love story has gone haywire.

I have the same concerns as you, really what happened to shaatir dimaag wala ASR, he has been turned into a love sick puppy, doesn't seem to be able to handle anything other than pleasing Khushi, these days. Every time Dadi, Shyam and Anjali fool him, I cringe, where did his brain and smarts disappear. Love has not only made him blind but deaf, mute and now dumb too. The man is clueless about whats going on around him and oblivious to all the lying, hiding information and mind games played by the three idiots(Dadi, Anjali and Shyam). What really happened to his aura, nobody seem to respect him or care two hoots for him. Nani these days has been constantly taking Dadi's side , manipulated and has become her chamchi. So the little support ASR had in RM has vanished. Shyam is smarter than ASR now, every plan of his is working. ASR was very close to finding the origination of the electric wiring, but Shyam was one step ahead of him. What's with the fascination of writers to Shyam's character that they have decide to show the lead of the show in a poor light. Is there a favoritism of actors going on in the writers group because they all seem to like Abhas more than Barun. For me ASR started going down the drain when he did not know Shyam kidnapped him and Khushi had to tell him. If he believed Khushi he would know by now how dangerous Shyam is , all this man does is slap and throw him out of the house, that's it. He doesn't want to investigate or hire a P.I to find out more about kidnapping, about the WILL Shyam made and got it signed by ASR thru Khushi. What happened to ASR's original WILL. Why are these loops not being closed. Also with the camera purchase, Anjali says CC is lost and he replies back saying I will cancel the card, but why? If I had been in his place, I would have contacted my CC company asked them who made that purchase, put a stop pymt to the vendor, call him to get more info about the person who bought it. But in IPK land illogical plots and scenes have taken precedence over logic. I am writing more about ASR's character because I care about and love him more than any other character in the show. For me to see him go down the drain in heart wrenching.

Now for Arnav becoming saint when the plot/track doesn't focus on the main leads instead Shyam-Anjali are being given more focus of course ASR is going to be a saint who is in love with Khushi and he doesn't want to see anything beyond that.

As for multiple tracks never in IPK history they have shown this many tracks all at one time but now they have made a khichdi that nothing makes sense. A and K remarriage is so boring, even Akash and Payal had a much better wedding ceremonies. Here these 2 have to face hurdles after hurdles. Don't they deserve a happy wedding. Also what's with the romance its so boring these days, there is no spark or passion or intensity, they 2 look bored while romancing. Whatever they had symbolically done between them in the first 8 months of the show were way better is close to our heart. these days I don't even watch the scenes again. Also the writers who have joined recently don't have a clue about the show, should go back and watch all the old episodes from June 6th to Feb just before the marriage to get a grip of the story line and the characters.

IMO, wedding will happen but its going to be dragged forever until we are completely bored and give up. Look at all the rasams everything is being either rushed or stretched too much. In all this the promos, SP banner everything as Shyam and Anjali as the main leads of the show. Did they change the leads, so IPKKND is now all about Shyam and Anjali. If that's the case then we fans were all cheated in the first place. its now like Arnav and Khushi and Akash and Payal are fighting for screen space. Both get only 2 mins in an episode filled with Dadi, Anjali and SHyam. Also what kind of character is Anjali, lying, hiding, no remorse kind of person. She should be ashamed of herself of her doings expecially cheating ASR, both the husband and wife are big time cheaters and she calls ASR a liar? really. Dadi, I have never sen such a mean buzurg in my life before, 15 years of living in an ashram ha made here a liar, conniving, cunning woman. She has no good qualities. there is a marked difference between the way she treats ASR and how nice and loving she is towards Anjali.

Finally I want to know who the leads are and I want my ASR back(don't make him a caricature like Khushi) and also want my show back , the show I enjoyed watching every scene/episode from June 6th 2011 up until Feb 2012.

Thanks Lovely for letting me rant here. I will go on and on with my venting but will stop here for now. I am completely frustrated but Beena and Shalu are trying to give me hopes, but am losing it day by day. I am also slowly getting over my addiction to this show, don't post much in the forum any more. When I opened my IF account just now to check for pms I was actually watching "Hum aapke hain Koun", (I know you like Sallu bhai a lot 😆) a feel good movie to take my mind off the show and the depressing mood its been creating ever since the remarriage was announced.

P.S Can we have better wardrobes for the leads, they both look like bhikaris compared to Anjali and others in the show. Also Barun needs a hair cut, he may not want to but ASR character needs it, for heavens' sake atleast for name he is a business tycoon.Which business man has such a bad unkempt hair like him.

Gul as much as I love you for bringing ASR to us right now I am not a happy camper. Just sit back and re watch or watch if you haven't the past three weeks episodes it is very evident we are not seeing ASR , the character you created and we love and admire.

I am not going into details scene by scene my question to you is...I totally get it you have to given in to some of the channels demands , understandable, but why change the character sketch you have created? ASR's character has been tampered with a complete 360 overnight. Growth in character graph , I can buy it but the speed at which the CV's sped unpardonable.

I have a close family member in the entertainment business have grown up seeing all the dynamics, have studied business and marketing . From where I stand this is what I am seeing, as cruel and harsh as I may sound you have produced a product so be ready to listen the customer you have delivered it to...I am not buying the fact you have to given in or bend backwards to channel demands you have done so because you got another show slot with the same channel you pat my back I pat your's hate to accuse you but this is how I perceive.

Your story is not just a love story but also a brother /sister story , three points of a triangle. Two of those points you have murdered , Khushi's character took a complete turn for the worst after Lavanya's exit and NK's entry . Anjali's character went from pure white to grey now black/white nothing you can do now will redeem her character. The only one standing shining is ASR now am loosing hope . Please, please not too late keep the character intact is my humble prayer to you.

Marketing your product is another issue I have but will leave it totally exhausted just getting this across. Hoping my critical plea will be taken with a smiling face for the betterment of your show. I want to see the TRP's back in the four's and in the top five.

I also feel a lack of power in ASR, but if u think deep, isn't it because he's completely in love and keeps thinking about his future 😳 with khushi all the time?? 😳
And that's why he has changed a lot!! 😳

But yes, WHY do we have to worry about the wedding? 😭
And why can't we enjoy the remarriage without any interruption? 😭
But u know what, I heard that the funding/budget for remarriage track is already granted, so I'm pretty sure the remarriage is gonna happen! 😃
So just be patient! 😃 😊

I love this show too much to see the spunk disappear!

We love ASR.. we want him to be in love.. dreaming but he should not stop thinking!

Hmm yeah, I was a bit spooked at how well Arnav blended in with the workers today and Snakewa so smoothly outsmarted both RM boys.

Used to seeing people stand on attention when ASR comes around.

Guess Arnie the loverboy stole ASR's aura...😭

mere dimaag mein bhi same kostins hai,,,kya hua ASR ko,,?dont tell me ki pyar hua hain,,,,ASR is an epic character who was maintained without faltering for so long,,,,dont ruin it now,,,please maintain his aura,,!

Agreed! We watch IPK becuase it's hatke and because of Arshi chemistry for over a year we have wanted to see Arshi's perfect wedding! Now that we're getting it, the side tracks and now we have to share Arshi with Anjali's godh barahi! Will we even get a wedding? We can't be for sure! That worry eats at me, but I ignore it and say, that they are already married and they will get married, but I know it's only a way to convince my mind and heart! We can never prove it!

this is indi, beena mailed me the link to your post. thanks for saying what many of us feel in that heartfelt way. yeah, why gul, why? please can we have asr back. gul's and our asr back.

and really, time asr got the better of shyam isn't it? this character and that of khushi are what really keeps me here. overlooking a thousand glitches, misses, odd and weird things. keep saying, doesn't matter, television serial, these things happen. concentrate on what's good. because what's good is really really fabulously good.

practically all the actors have turned out to be incredible over time. dadi never got my vote though. now, suddenly anjali is lost. what's happening there?

khushi is moving from spunky and rooted to downright silly.

and asr. so sweet? so mild? as you say, no one, not even the workers could care less? and shyam is openly running around the house. what does this say really. asr can be fooled easily, need not be taken seriously.

this is painful. please do something. gul.
