A romantic date between Arnav and Khushi at this juncture of time would be very unrealistic!
This is a phase where in both of them are understanding, accepting and sinking each other's lifestyles!
They come from two different extreme worlds. Parallel lines never intersect!
It was a date for both the viewers as well as Arnav and Khushi to make it clear that they accept each other for what they are. They need not change for anyone!!

Curiosity kills the cat...Expectations ruin actuality. - I guess this is what many have gone through and thus the result many did not like the date.
As Arnav well put.. "I love you the way you are", guess it is time for an ipkknd fan to start feeling "ipkknd, I love you the way you are".. If this happens then we will be able to get to know what exactly what creative team is intending to convey!
p.s. it is funny that whenever the word "date" is used automatically mind inclines to something romantic 😉 (a trained mind is it? 🤪)
