Lo ek aur rant. Told you guys I am in a cranky mood and it isn't that time of the month either. 😆
No I am not! I think the story is boring and predictable. i am tired of watching Shyam and Anjali love story. When I started watching the show, i started it because I wanted to watch the sizzling romance between Aranv and Khushi. I understand it is not possible to show the romance 24x7. And i am ready to watch the stories of the side characters provided they have an interesting story to tell.
I am tired of the same old track of Shyam conniving and Anjali blindly believing him. There was no confrontation between them. She didn't even doubt him, not even once.Her dearest brother accuses her husband of homicide and she didn't even confront/ doubt that man. Her idol worshiping is sickening and is getting on my nerves. As an independent modern woman of 21st century , I would rather see a woman stand up after she had been knocked off her feet and make a new life and craete a niche for herself, a new identity who is stronger both physically, mentally and emotionally. I would stand up and cheer for her for not letting her life going down the dumps.
It is never easy rebuilding your life after life had given yu some hard knocks, but it isn't impossible either. I would have loved to see Anjali picking up the pieces of her life and turning into a independent confident woman who has the world at her feet and is no longer at the mercy of men, any man for that matter- neither Arnav her brother nor her hsuband, Shyam.
As for the romance between Arnav and Khushi. There is something missing now. the magic is lost. I used to spend hours thinking , analyzing, re watching a scene before marriage track, now I don't even feel the inclination of watching it again. In fact the story has lost all charm for me. There is nothing to "give me a fit". The indifference of the Cvs is clearly obvious in the show. Dekhan hai to Dekho attitude would only alienate the audience. The audience is alienated. The audience is left in dark. We don't know what's happening in the show anymore. The inconsistencies are taking a toll on our nerves.
We love BS and SI. They are undoubtedly the best looking / hottest couple on TV right now. But as an audience we want more than just pretty faces. If the Cvs think we are ready to overlook their lackluster / incoherent/illogical story/ tracks, with a dose of Arnav and Khushi romance, they are out of their minds.
You can't have biryani everyday. It is bound to take a toll on your heath and you have to resort to healthy diet sooner or later. So the party is over, please give us something sensible. And for heaven's sake stop dragging. Build the climax , sure, but don't drag it. It loses it effect after a while.
