He watched her, the epitome of grace, as she moved across the hall waiting for his son to come out of his hiding place.
The slight swing of her hips, those beautiful brown eyes filled with happiness and innocence.
They were enough to drive any man over the edge.
She was beautiful and he had to have her.

He pushed her on the bed and took off his shirt.
She rose up to help him but he pushed her back down and claimed her lips.
He nipped and bit exploring every corner of her mouth while his hands opened the dori of her choli.
He pushed the cloth that dared to hide her breathtaking beauty from his eyes.
He took her bud into his mouth and felt her writhe with pleasure underneath him.
"You haven't felt anything yet." He whispered huskily and slipped a finger into her.
He watched her moan suddenly forgetting everything else in his world.
She was here and nothing else, nobody else mattered.
He raised her ghagra above her waist and pushed into her repeatedly taking both of them over the edge and back.
He rolled off of her in exhaustion and reached into his nightstand taking a cigarette pack out.
"We shouldn't be doing this. "She whispered.
"I don't care." He whispered back.

"I'm not going to do this anymore." He said.
"Very Funny." She laughed and reached for his shirt button.
"No, I mean it. We're over."
She stepped back.
"But...I don't understand-"she whispered.
"Then I'll explain it to you. No more of this sneaking behind everybody's back crap. All you were to me was a good f**k. Today's the marriage. After all the rasams are over you are to leave and never come back. You are not needed anymore."
He said and walked away not realising that he had left not one but two hearts broken.

"Anita? Are you ready? We have to get down and-"he stopped shocked by the sight that greeted him.
"Anita what are you doing?" he asked walking towards her slowly.
"Stop right there or I'll shoot myself." She said pressing the gun deeper into her head. '
"Anita, our daughter is getting married downstairs. Why are you doing this?"
"Because I can't do this anymore. Do you know how hard it is to pretend that everything is ok? Do you know how hard it is to hide the bruises that you constantly make on me? Do you know how hard it is to explain to your son and daughter why you are hardly ever around?"
Her screams reverberated around the room.
A tear fell out of her eye.
"I kept convincing myself that everything you did was because you loved me. And now I find out that you're going around sleeping with our maid. I don't see any love for me in that Anant. I'm done. With you, with your mother's constant condescending remarks, with this life.
I'm done with all of it."

She watched from a crack in the door afraid to step in and make matters worse.
Things had just gotten from bad to worse.
She closed her eyes.
She knew that eventually Anita Malik would pull that trigger.
She had seen the cuts and bruises on her.
Hell she had them too.
She opened her eyes only to see his mother standing in front of her.
She immediately straightened up. "Woh mehmsaabh, hum bus-"
His mother grabbed her hair and pulled her away from the door and into the nearest room.
"I know what my son has done and I know that it is all because of you. You're a bloody gold digger and my son finally realised that. You played your charms all over this family. You made ALL of us think that you were trust worthy but not anymore. You are to leave. Right now. And don't ever think of showing us your face again.Otherwise we will destroy you. "
Subhadra Malik walked away from her leaving her alone to finally burst into tears.

She walked down the stairs and looked at how beautiful Anjali looked.
She watched Arnav as he stood near his Di unaware of what his beloved mother was going to do in the matter of a few minutes.
She had never been too close to either Anjali or Arnav.
In fact she doubted if they had ever seen her face but from what Anant and Anita had told her she knew they were lovely children.
She tore her eyes away from the siblings and looked for the face she was searching for.
She caught his eye in the midst of the chaos that the little children were causing.
It would be hard to forget him she realised.
He ran up to her.
"Kya hua didi? Why are you crying?" he asked.
"Nothing happened beta. You go and play with your friends ok?" She walked away leaving a bewildered Dhruv Malik in her wake.

The sound of the gun shot reverberated around Sheesh Mahal followed by another that finally caused the people to rise from their states of shock .
Everybody ran except her.
She just stood there knowing that her mistake, her weakness, her love for him had caused three children to become orphans.
She wiped away her tears and walked towards the doors of Sheesh Mahal.
Garima Saxena turned around for the last time to take in her last memory of Sheesh Mahal where she would always be known as a murderer.
