Their meeting each other without bothering about the elders of the house Haq SE reminds me of the movie Marocharitra taking in Tamil by Balachander. It was later dubbed and taken in Hindi Called Ek Dujje Ke Liye. It is also about Star crossed lovers and their defiance. That movie ended in a tragedy not like our story.
