that was a choice born out of fear!

fear of losing loved ones

sacrifice it is when u give up something so others can gain, and no one but yourself will loose anything...

here, Khushi lost, at least for a while... Anjali was fooled into thinking she didn't loose anything... as for Arnav, the less said the better... Methinks... he gained... one fabulous wife (ditzy, but strong and entertaining... if only she would give up her penchant for lying)

what did anyone else gain from Arnav's choices

Sorry to butt in..But one can;t blame Arnav for his extremely acerbic behaviour..The pain he had to go through during his childhood..the tensions between his parents..his father cheating on his mother..both parents committing suicide..a 14 year old coming to know of his father's affair with another woman..totally shattered him!!And to top it off..being thrown out of the house by his own Chachaji..While one can and should never ignore the pains he caused to Khushi..one should also not overlook the incidents that led to the making of ASR..The man who provided for the family..shielded his family against every storm and had no one to share his pains with..Not even his Di...Khushi has been a blessing to him..He could vent out his frustrations by shouting at her...He could somehow be "himself" with Khushi around...Everyone loves ASR..But no one CARES FOR HIM..Not until Khushi came to his life!!

sampin..i agree with you. Khushi is the only person who has bring arnav boy out of him ...and shown care and love.
I am talking in terms of sacrifice here...
As appu said, what sacrifice he has made???
He also grew fast and took all the responsibility..so does khushi too. even payal was there, she has to earn bread for her family.

I clearly understand khushi's sacrifices...buaji forced her for engagement..that is sacrifice to me, even she did nto want to but she had no choice because of orphan. she has to marry arnav because of payal..she has to go back to arnav because of family loosing shelter..etc
