You're not alone in this. Most of the audience who feel there should be more to a plot than a bare chest (even if it's hot!) and decimated characters with a storyline that has no rhyme or reason, are with you. Don't even want to get started on the "Case of the Missing Closures!" The magic that was IPKKND is no more. A lot of the people I know who used to watch this show, don't anymore. Having said that, all the performers are doing a great justice to the drama. However, it has lost it's magic, that's for sure. You're not the only one saying that. Personally, i feel even SaRun have lost their magic! They're just not the same as before!

You should check the ratings now dear, they are still dipped and Asr is back, so your argument doesn't hold. You know, treating viewers like idiots will do that. After a while, even bare chests lose their appeal.

in terms of characterization and defining and weaving the story around all the characters was a forte in the beginning.

I feel that the creatives have lost the track of the story and the essence of the characters. And while we remember and keep track of the little nuances about the show and characters, they are just trying to pull along the story day by day. It feels like they write the script for the day the day before. So there's a lack of continuity and relatability to characters.

WHY?

Ever since BS returned from his movie shoot, the chemistry between the leads is also lost.
Showing more and more ArHi scenes is not the answer.
Frankly, the soul of the show is gone.

Suddenly I did feel for past 6 months there was definitely a big change in the way non arshi characters were dealt with !

One time I felt like they don't even care about any other character other than A&K.

In fact I was telling my friends around march timeline that I definitely feel there is a change in director and to my surprise I heard it was true ! So clearly the change was pretty evident !!!

There were times I felt Khushi's characterization was not steady either !

But I guess all that is covered up with the brilliance of ARSHI and SARUN acting talent. 😊

Of course BARU's expressions alone can carry entire IPK ! 😳

This is such an incredible script and extraordinary actors that add to the advantage and only if they take care of consistency in story and characters there would never be a reason for TRP's to do down below 3.5 or atleast 3.

I dont thing the directing can anywhere be compared to the initial 6 months !!!
