Its easier to be angry at ASR because Arnav has been a jerk to khushi right from the beginning..Remember the first episodes of IPK? Khushi in the green dress, and Arnav immediately jumped to the conclusion that she was there to sabotage his show? He ended up humiliating her, and payal's marriage broke. Arnav has always jumped to conclusions, and Khushi has been unable to resolve his tensions for him. If Arnav thinks that Khushi and shyam are having an affair, Khushi will NEVER straight-out say that 'Dude, your BIL is forcing himself upon me'. Instead she will think of what Anji will think and what Arnav will think and stop thinking by herself. Khushi just isn't a straightforward kind of woman. She will always think twice because she doesn't want to 'destroy' anyone, and yet that's exactly what he will do. Even when ASR was threatening her with Payash divorce, if she really had a steely resolve she would have thought to herself, 'This is PAYASH's problem, and how can Arnav do anything without providing an explanation?'If during ArHi wedding, Khushi would have simply gone to the family and said 'Your son is forcing me to marry him, do something!' they would have demanded an explanation from ASR and things could have gone differently. But Khushi accepts ASR as God. She never questions his motives.
Ofcourse he has been a jerk! I dont even mind accepting that! That is WHAT makes him ASR! 😉 But the fact is once you understand the soft heart hidden behind his hard exterior - u cannot hate him. 😳
But character growth has been in the man since he fell in love with her - that is the difference! While Khushi still remains the immature kid that she is.
She never questions!? She should question!? Isnt she the one who thoughtlessly entered arnav's party and sabotaged it!? Isnt she the one who forced Arnav to accept La!? Isnt she the one who started her dabba service!? There are so many incidences where she has taken the control - why could she not take it when the time was right.
Whatever it is - the thought process has always been missing from Khushi! She does not need to act - but even if the thought process would have been there - her guilt - her regret - that came in at a stage when it had become completely impossible to relate to her.
