Yes, she did choose to be one but why was she allowed to be so? Arnav had to face the brunt of the world; he was ready to show how it is to Khushi then why encase his sister in her bubble? Hadn't she gone through as much as he himself had?

She would have said that, yes, but did she say that after Arnav threw him out? She trusts Arnav and his words if and when he utters them; so it was doubly important that it should be HE who should have told her the truth about Shyam beforehand
