Generally I find that my opinions are matched with the masses - everywhere, when I watch a new movie or when I'm analyzing a situation in IPK. But today my opinion is plainly opposite - I am going to talk about Anjali. I know most of you are thinking that she is no woman for making this abortion decision, in this post I am not trying to support her decision at all, I am not supporting abortion either, but I am trying to get a glimpse into her head.

So far what we have seen is that Anjali is a very emotional girl, with naivety that borders to stupidity. For a female like her, such a betrayal would come as big jolt, something that would shake her totally from the inside. Right now, she is not only confused, she is missing her husband, she is not ready to accept that he was wrong, she still wants to believe in her delusional world, so she looks at the photographs. She is so sad, depressed and confused that is even angry at Arnav, the one person she herself was mother too in many ways. She can't question his love, but she is scared to question Shyam either, despite other people's belief. Then comes Khushi, to remind her of her responsibility, now one would certainly love to be reminded of such thing by the same girl for whom her husband has betrayed her. So for a few moments, to her Shyam's betrayal becomes real. Does she really take time to decide about the kid - NO!!! She is actually moved by Khushi's presence and Shyam's betrayal - I don't think she is even thinking about the kid. She is simply saying I want to remove Shyam's presence for my life, because that's what the baby symbolizes.

She is in the kind of pain we can't even feel. Many of you say that she is no woman, but in real life too many woman get abortion for many reasons and you would not even like to the reasons of that. We are all naive when we become so judgmental. We are saying we don't respect her, we are declaring her not a woman, we are saying we understand her pain but we can't forgive her for taking this decision. We are giving scenarios of how we would have handles such a situation. 😭

What I feel is that ideology and moral answers are not difficult to give, but in real life things don't always follow these two. Real life is harder to live, there are more variables then saying "This is a god given life".😊

This is totally my POV for Anjali's circumstance, I think CV's are doing great job sticking with her weak character (a little selfish as well) as well as showing her immense pain. 👏
👏
There is no one who can love a child more than a mother, and I am sure Anjali will prove that, just as she has proved with her brother ASR. But she needs time, she needs her sanity to return, she needs to acknowledge many facts of her life, accept reality and than become stronger...I think despite her hasty decision, Anjali is not bad. Who knows in the end she would be the one to pull out, run away from hospital...😳
