I'm not interested in what happened rather what is gonna happen after what happened? (not the present but their future after this)

Characters of Khushi and Anjali is like the proverb below.

Since you know Kannada, there is a saying "bisi tuppa nungoduke aagodila ugyoke agala"

For Khushi, she cannot spit neither swallow - >she has a perfect husband and life before her but she cannot opt for it .

For Anjali, she wants to taste and ready to swallow the ghee - >she has one in her life which she does not want to let go off but that serves no purpose (read shyam here as waste )

Khushi has a candy in hand which she cant eat , Anjali loved/loves to have that taste of candy forever (expired one - shyam here ) .

One has option (khushi) other one is left without an option(Anj) coz she does not want to opt in life.

I dont know as i'm not good in explaining things here but i guess you got the point.
