Okay... as I was writing this... I could understand why Payal won't speak up for now.. Anjali is in a delicate situation... but then, shouldn't she clear Khushi's name in this regard... now that Anji knows a half baked truth... isn't it time for Payal to remind her of the past?

I can't see her blurting anything out without Khushi knowing, or rather without her presence - For now, I can see her stalling Anjali's accusations by perhaps telling her to calm down, and to wait for all to return before she starts getting the wrong end of the stick...

Lucky.. Khushi was very very clear when she said they have a paying guest . His name is Shyam. She was very clear about he fiances name. She was very clear that it was the decision of family and Anjali very well knew Khushi was unhappy with her engagement. There is a lot of background to this fiasco. Its deep rooted. If this side puts forth an argument the other side will have a proof.. So ASR will have to step in!! He will be the one who can sort out things.

Not necessarily... It was quite prominently shown that Khushi and Shyam have not met and the day they met at the Havan... Khushi's engagement was broken (with a guy called Shyam) the next day... Anji knows about the broken engagement in her subconscious... she just needs to connect the dots.
