brave needs support and weak ones need sympathy 😆😆
yes you feel for her more because you know what she has gone thru but dont forget the black past which has made Arnav as ASR.. the same past has made Anjali this weak.
age.. women..men,, life doesnt give problems seeing all this and i am sure you are more intelligent than me to understand this! telling you from personal experience that life gives more problem than Khushi to a more young girl than Khushi.. but life doesnt give the happiness Khushi will get or is getting! or Anjali has got!.. may be she will get someone in future but how many in real does get? Khushi has got ASR how many in real does get??
thats what i am saying that its a fiction.. if today is right tomorrow will be wrong.. connecting it with real life is the biggest foolish thing :)

-__-...life works in mysterious ways. believe it or not . and its just a tv show why can't they do those stuff. . thats how it is. also i've seen girls suffering in asian dramas and english dramas. some not so bad but others far worse then khushi's ordeals.

^and to the above comment.. claps for you. you put it brilliantly.

This would raise the TRPs like anything. If after this the romance cum redemption track would start, then I am sure that IPK would be back at rocking the TRP chart!

Its just that...its sad that she would get hurt! Whether she jumps voluntarily to save Arnav or she gets pushed, that's yet to be seen.

here is where i will quote coleridge the british poet. He says fiction brings the willing suspension of disbelief which means people start to relate to it. That brings the passion and any work of fiction thrives on this. To me art is a mirror of life. Anjali will emergeas a stronger women because of her problems. But khushi the strong women will become weaker d ue to life's blow. And that is sad when a really good person a really strong person is broken down. Let me tell you having an asr in real itself is. Challenge .that is personal experience speaking. Hemay not be shyam but he is hurtful nd in reality khushi has as much on her plate.

no. i think most audiences are hypocritical not just indian audiences. i'm sure you watch more then one show. in almost all love story shows whether it's indian or english, you'll always see people getting physically hurt for love lets face it. we love to see stuff like that, to see how far a person goes for love , the amazing love connection and sacrifice. cause where else could we see it. though stuff like this actually happens in real life, people risking their lives for their loved ones. but its always fun to see how a fictional drama can stir up so many people and bring out the feminist in everyone.

yes people stars to believe it but does that mean that our life also turns into fictional way? it doesnt! i dont think so that Khushi will become weaker cause she was never week! she will be more strong. one thing.. god never gives anyone problem beyond his/her capability of facing that! Khushi faced enough. and Anjali will face now.
so is heas much lovable and caring like ASR or only hurtful? cause i dont see ASR a challenge! he was a challenge to face when he was ASR now for Khushi he is Arnav! and i am sure it will be proved soon
all i can say living in a fiction doent make the life as fiction.. after that half an hour we are back to face the bitter truths of life.
ups and downs are bound to happen be it real or fiction.. when we can face the real ones face the fiction one too. at least fiction will give you two minutes long eye lock.. dupatta flying and RabbaVe.. but real wont give you!

p,s this is probably the most clean discussion of a forum by now and i never enjoyed a discussion this much 🤗 glad to have members like you still here Rima who not only puts their POV but respects and understands others too! :)

To this, I'd just say that fiction doesn't remain only fiction when it has the capability to stir a huge mass! IPK has such credibility.
It has become such an integral part of people's lives that they hardly notice that they are thinking/eating/breathing IPK!

And yes, hypocrisy exists everywhere, but exists here more than anywhere else! I overheard a lady in my neighborhood telling my masi that she didn't like Khushi's over the top behavior ...that she should behave like a lady and not irritate Arnav so much, because after all he is her husband! Though she likes Khushi as Khushi but not at the cost of irritating the hell out of her 'husband'. No matter what that husband had done to her. By the way, this was during their gupta house stay!

Rima, its not new..year after year many tv shows (basically i watch most Bengali n Hindi tv show ) r based their show on the weakness of women in front of the dictator man's society n its a reality women always suffer in barbarous under rule of man society from decade after decade😡(in fact real life is more dreadful than reel) but it has been no changed...rather than ipk is more different than another shows..now its also going to light same way...but cvs r doing this only for increasing trp..b/c u know most of lady viewers enjoy to watch heroine's woeful life in serial..how much heroine would shed weeping..trp also will be increased simultaneously...i know our show is based on love hate story n i believe it will never be typical sass bahu type in next...though our heroine Khushi is suffering a lot at present even i don't know what future is waiting for her..will it be happiness or not again sorrowful?? but for now time is come to erase her all sorrows n get love n support from her laad Governor...i hope cv is making like this.😊
Don't be panic i think Khushi will meet a normal accident n by this Arnav will fully understand his mistakes n his love for Khushi.😉

This is where we talk about "popular culture having an impact on people's thinking" -- pretty much all movies and shows use this stuff "to prove yourself, if you are in harm's way and get to a stage where you are almost dead, the other person does not have a choice but to believe you!!!!"

I guess this is very predictable. So, at least now they are done with the "physical harm" thing. We all know they cannot kill her so they have to bring her back to life -- the predictability starts now.

The show has fallen from a classic to something extremely ordinary over the last 5 months where the characters have been rendered ordinary with all their complexity removed. So, the only thing I hope they do from this point forward is at least bring the entertainment factor back. Like the writers said from the beginning "it is a daily soap not a master piece, just enjoy it..." so, they brought it down to that level. I have to say with the cast they have, if they bring some entertainment into the show, it is better than what I have seen of other shows -- granted for 10-15 mins each -- but nothing on Indian channels caught my attention like this one.

Digging a hole after success is easy like they proved -- has happened to several successful people in the past. Digging yourself out of that hole is the difficult part. There are enough die-hards that love their stars but I dont think this team will get the same respect they did when they created this magical show in the beginning. They dont deserve it either. Let us wait and watch what they do next -- I am watching it now more out of morbid curiosity for the next path of destruction the creative team and Gul choose for their show. I am not being negative, I am being realistic -- if you look at it, they created 6-7 months of magic and then 5 months of ABSOLUTE CRAP. Till they show that they can create some magic, I dont think this has any chance except with the die hards and the Barun droolers.

Cheers.
